I have purchased a two vehicles from this location in the

I have purchased a two vehicles from this location in the last few months. First, was a Nissan Rogue. I will say the process to buy was as simple as it comes with dealerships. In and out in under an hour. The second vehicle is where my problem lies. I was a first time buyer of an Nissan Leaf EV, and first time buyer of an EV in general, and the car doesn't even remotely pan out to what Rick told me it would be capable of. I explained my situation in detail, driving 120 + miles a day for work, and was told the leaf would make this drive easily. I was also told that the 120v charger that comes with the vehicle would gain me 10 miles for every hours worth of charging. With the vehicle charging all day at work I should never come even close to draining the battery on my vehicle. To be clear, Nissan states this same charger gets 2-5 miles for every hour of charging, nothing near the 10 Rick stated, and when confronted about it he changed his statement to "Oh it only gets 7 miles for every hour of charging." Even with my car charging for 8 hours a day while I'm working, I am still at an extremely low battery when I arrive at home. Without the 240v charger I was also only able to drive the car every other day as it takes over 20 hours to fully charge up. I went back to get the car dealt with and was told they would purchase my vehicle back, at a $6000 loss to me, and offer me a more expensive vehicle in exchange. As if this was some favor they were doing me. I will not return to this dealership, Rick in particular is more concerned with making sales than ensuring customers get a vehicle that is needed. I am new to the EV scene, as stated, which is why I went into such detail about my specific scenario when purchasing. I wanted to ensure the 150 mile range would work for me, but it barely makes it the 120 miles. Steer clear Update - Since I can't respond to your response. You did try to get me into a new leaf SV, as I stated in my review above, but a scenario where you buy it at $6000 less than the loan, your dealership still accepts the payout for the EV credit, and I am forced to pay higher rates due to the negative equity, doesn't make up for the damage your salesman did with the initial purchase. Simply informing me of EV capabilities would have been a deal breaker when I stopped in. Acting like your dealership is giving me a break, when in reality the deal sells an additional car for your lot and makes an immediate $11,500 in profit, while getting another leaf back to sell, is not a deal for anyone but you. To add a little more context for anyone looking. I am attaching an email from Rick, even though in person we received claims of the charger being capable of 10 miles per hour of charging, that states the 120V charger should charge at 7 miles for every hour of charging. Nissan itself claims their chargers only get 2-5 miles for every hour. 50% less, at its MAX CAPABILITIES, to what Rick says it should be getting. This is the kind of information Nissan Boulder will push to sell a car.

Stay Away!

Terrible customer service. Stay away! The first time I used this dealership was to get an oil change. I called ahead to make an appointment, but when I got there at the appointed time, there was a 2-hour wait and no one was going to put me ahead of the others, even though I was on the books for my appointed time. The second time I tried to use them, I was taking to someone about an issue under warranty who told me to call back when I was back from a trip. I called and was greeted by a much less kind man who told me I had to pay for testing to diagnose the issue. I had told the first person that I had paper-work showing it had already been diagnosed and he told me that was enough. This second person said it wasn't enough and would charge me if the issue wasn't under warranty as I was told it originally was. I was to pay at least $150 if it wasn't under warranty because he "had to pay his technician." He kept repeating this as though this were my issue and should make sense to me. It's not my issue, Sir, and I don't need to hear how your run your business and why it doesn't work for you. So rude! Stay away!!

I hate it when I'm told "That's our policy" well what is

I hate it when I'm told "That's our policy" well what is the customers policy? Over charge me for sales taxes when at the time I explained to them that there is zero sales taxes collected on automobiles for Windsor, colorado. The manager assured me I would receive a refund because of overcharging. well over 3 months after the purchase date still no refund, ( if they had listened at the time of sale and double checked the correct amount of sales tax to collect, we would not be in this. "That's our Policy situation" per Rachel I took advantage of the zero APR offer from Nissan, and I was told today that the "TAX REFUND" was sent to the lender and I understand that , but when I asked why I was not informed of this again," THATS our POLICY" well This is NOT a TOTAL transparency and seems they actually over charges my FINANCE CONTRACT to make addition FINANCE RESERVE FROM THE LENDER. And today Rachael said she bought the mistake and NEVER sent the tax to Larimier county with my paperwork and just refunded to Nissan Motor Credit just does not leave a good feeling with me. So beware and do not accept an overcharge because of this dealerships lack of knowledge about sales tax rates in our own state of Colorado ,,IE Dealer tax .com is resource that can eliminate these mistakes, AND THATS MY POLICY!!!!!! What a waste of time and money car shopping at Boulder...

What a waste of time and money car shopping at Boulder Nissan was. The salesman at Boulder Nissan do not speak the truth. They said the car we were considering was inspected and we should trust their mechanics. We took one of their used cars to a mechanic and found out it had been in an accident, was damaged and would be expensive to repair. The salesman at Boulder Nissan said he never mentioned the damage because their inspection dept did not report it. He would not lower the price. This was the 2nd time in a 2 year period they tried to sell us a used car that was damaged. The other car had a head gasket that was is leaking oil.

If I could give them 6 stars, I would. Boulder Nissan is...

If I could give them 6 stars, I would. Boulder Nissan is hands down the best Dealer and Service department I've ever experienced. Anyone can sell you a car but the real experience and value is in the service and the relationship. These guys are really there for their customers. I can personally attest that they aren't about the lip service - they're about the follow through. If you need a vehicle or, more importantly, if your Nissan needs service, proceed immediately to Boulder Nissan. See Chris in Service!
