We just purchased a 2025 CRV Touring Hybrid.

We just purchased a 2025 CRV Touring Hybrid. Palmer helped us with the entire process. He was very helpful and knowledgeable for the many questions we had. He helped navigate our decisions to what was truly best for our needs. He was a pleasure to work with. We would certainly refer Palmer to any of our friends looking to buy a vehicle.

Great Service center if you have complex issues

I have a 2017 honda-CRV which was suffering from a cylinder misfire problem since NOv-2020. I had previously had it at a different richmond honda dealer twice, where it sat for 2 weeks in total without any firm diagnosis or solution. As the problem got severe in Apr-22 I decided to take it to a different Honda service center and decided to try Mechanicsville Honda as I found some great reviews online. I dropped the car at noon and got a call at around 4 pm wit the exact diagnosis and fix (cracked spark plug on cylinder #4). I Was also recommended some additional services which were not adviced by the other location which was required but never recommended by the other locations. Well with all said and done the car was ready the next morning under 24 hours and at 50% of the cost that was quoted by the earlier honda service center. I had planned to sell the CRV because of this problem but now it works like a charm. I would highly recommend this location for ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS, PROMPT RESPONSE, FAIR PRICES and QUICK SERVICE. I am will be using them for all my future repairs.

Highly recommended dealership and salesman.

Purchased a new CRV from Mechanicsville Honda this afternoon. It was an extremely efficient process and the salesman, Bob Lane, was fantastic to work with. I highly recommend working with him. Also pleased with the deal I was able to get at the dealership.

Not a good place to buy a car .

Once they have your money. You will not receive any help from anyone . After the car they sold you just 60 days turns out to be a lemon. Do yourself a favor and buy somewhere else .

Positive remarks about Ming Chin:

Very pleased with my several visits with Ming Chin leading up to the purchase a Red L level CRV. Ming was helpful at every angle, making me feel "at home" at every turn. I have several Hondas, all of which I've always taken to the M'ville Honda service folks. I have owned a total of 8 Honda vehicles. Great realer with super autos!

A stranger treated like a friend

I recently started a trip to Virginia from Arkansas, but before I even got to Memphis, I noticed I was having some strange issues with both my cruise control and my transmission. Of course, that’s never reassuring, but when you’re staring at nearly 2,000 miles in your immediate future, it’s unsettling to say the least. I called Mechanicsville Honda the first chance I had once I got to VA and they were able to schedule to see my vehicle the next day. Once I was there, the service team was patient with me as they listened to me attempt to describe the “sounds” and other oddities that caused me to bring her in—I know every mechanic loves that part! When my phone lit up with their number only 3 short hours after I’d dropped the car off, I naturally thought it was to tell me what all was wrong and to ask what I wanted them to fix. To my surprise, the kind voice on the other end told me what work had already been done to fix my issues and that everything was covered—no fees would need to be collected today. Imagine my surprise! I was expecting to possibly need major work or at least have to pay exorbitant labor fees while they were looking for the problem, but that wasn’t the case at all. In the past 25 years, my husband and I have purchased 6 Honda vehicles—the customer service I received at this Honda service center this week is a perfect testimony as to one of the reasons we keep Hondas in our driveway. Thank you Mechanicsville Honda!

Bait and Switch-Beware!!

Run away! These guys advertise prices online. I called, verified the pricing and procedure for ordering my parts, and then called back the next week to place the order. They then called me to let me know that the prices were not going to be honored. The gentleman I spoke with to place my order said his managers told him to not honor the prices THAT ARE STILL POSTED ON THE MOBILE WEBSITE! He said they were shutting down the website. Indeed the page on my computer now says, "SITE TEMPORARILY DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE. CHECK BACK SOON!" However, the mobile site still displays the prices and would even let me place my order online. Wow, so they say it's just down for maintenance, but it truly is being shut down forever. That lie should tell all of us what we need to know. If I trusted them to honor it, I would place the order online and then hold them to it. These guys will tell you whatever you want to hear to get your business. Beware. I am taking my business to an honest dealership!

Honda Pilot

My husband and I just purchased our first new car together. It has been an exciting time, and Bob Lane made the experience much more enjoyable than anticipated. When my husband and I went car shopping, we had already narrowed our search down to three vehicles, and we visited three different dealerships. Not only did the Honda Pilot stand out, but Bob's good-natured humor and the Mechanicsville Honda dealership stood out. As Bob says, they are a place with integrity. I couldn't agree more. Bob is the most honest salesman I have ever met, which was very refreshing. Plus, his sense of humor kept me laughing. In the end, we got the best deal, the best car, and (in my opinion) the best salesman.
