I wish I could post pictures here.

I wish I could post pictures here. I purchased a car from out of state and had it shipped to me. I was advised clean car fax and excellent condition. I received a car with major driver door damage and poorly repaired. Shame on them!

You listed a car with only 18,000 miles in mint condition

You listed a car with only 18,000 miles in mint condition and.when I inquired about it you said you were waiting on parts. Mint condition cars don't need parts. So I said I'd pass.

Over Priced Vehicles

High prices for used cars over 10 years with an accident attached to it, is ridiculous. No matter what type of car it is; plus high mileage! Stop the price gouging, and you'll get your vehicles sold!

Be wary of vehicle descriptions!

Found a VW Bug at this dealership and spoke with Ron Swanson. He had a lot of trouble understanding what I was saying. It was a difficult transaction. However, I was told that the car was "immaculate" over and over again. Agreed on a price of $13,000 even and to have it shipped to us in Colorado for $950. Wired the purchase price to them but decided to drive up and pick the car up instead. VERY happy that we decided to do that as the car is FAR from immaculate! They brought it out for us to test drive with the top down. Then realized that he had to air up two fo the tires before we could take it out. There is a large blemish on the passenger side. Not a deal breaker. The headlights are so fogged that you can barely see the light from them and one headlight bulb was completely out. Still not a deal breaker. Then the trunk takes several tries before the latch releases. Rolled windows down but the passenger front window only rolls down 75% of the way. All things that we could live with. Drives well. Put the top up and found quite a few worn spots and tears. When talking with Ron he became a bit obnoxious and claimed that "ALL convertibles tops wear out". True however he refused to admit that the information should be divulged and that the car would NOT qualify as immaculate! He disagreed. We tried to deal and fix the minor items ourselves and split the cost of a replacement top, $1,500, with them and have the work done ourselves. They refused. We were given our money back that day however this was not the experience that we were looking forward to. Just know that if you are looking at the red/cream VW Convertible that these issues do exist. Also, take their vehicle descriptions with a grain of salt as they seem to differ from what the general public might agree with.

Dealer response

Thank you for your review. The 2009 XLR had been sold. The customer that purchased this car was not comfortable in it. They came back after the purchase and traded for a different car. The XLR is here and is for sale again. Please let us know if there anything we can help if you still have any interest. Thank You Speedway Auto Mall

Honest Dealer

We had purchased a vehicle last Saturday. Did not pick it up because it had a check engine light on. They were going to fix. But it had a bigger problem and the told us. So we got all are deposits back. Very honest dealer. Could have just sold it to us. Ron was the salesman

You better be rich!

They must be selling these cars with gold bars in the trunk, for as overpriced as they are. I asked the salesman why the car was priced like it was. His response "Do you want to pay more?" I asked if anything was upgraded on the car, to justify the price. The salesman said "I don't think so, I don't know much about it".
