THANKS HALL HONDA and STAFF
Papa has been involved in my last 3 car purchases.My nephew who just purchased a 2014 Odyssey and if you read his review from 21 DEC 2013 you will see after speaking with him and his experience with Steve and Papa that I picked up the phone and called Papa. Papa greeted me as a friend who still remembered me after 2 years. Papa next asked how can he help me. After a small exchange of what I'm looking for he said come and see me. I headed out to a chevy dealer but when I got there I did not get out of my car. My heart said go see Papa. I left and drove to see what Papa could do about what I was looking for. I walked in the showroom and I am met by Steve and within 5 seconds Papa is there with his same as always smile and handshake. Over the next few hours was remarkable. I'll put it this way it's not where you start but where you finish and we did finish and as you might know I am a well satisfied customer. To the management of HALL Honda every customer that comes into your showroom should have the chance to deal with Papa and have an experience as I did. Hall Honda Is wonderful
I recently came in with my son to purchase his first Civic. We were greeted by Cindy who is part of the Internet Team. Being his first car purchase she explained each step of the process, explained the fetures on the car and then we did a test drive. She listened to what we needed for a payment and when it was all done we were extremely pleased. Both my son and I have recommended her and Hall Honda. Thanks Cindy and we will be back.

Incredibly good service
I arrived at Hall Honda with the intent of "looking" at the CRV after having done much research on the internet. I had originally planned to test drive a CRV and then move on to a Toyota dealer to do the same thing with a Rav4. Unfortunately I never made it to the Toyota dealer. The sales staff was so willing to make me happy with the Honda product that 24 hours later I have a brand new CRV in my garage. From the salesperson to his supervisor and then with the financial person the whole process was a resounding success (from my perspective and I hope from theirs). Thank you Hall Honda, and especially thank you to my salesperson, Vernon Williams, for getting me into my new CRV. Great work Vernon.

Buying a new car
I bought a car the other day from here. Everyone that I worked with was extremely helpful and friendly. They patiently answered my many questions and showed me what would be to my best advantage. My sales person was Ian Baer. Not only did he give me an extremely thorough explanation of the car, he was very funny and friendly. I felt very much at ease about test driving the vehicle and buying a new car. He even took the time to help me set up some of the features of my car after the entire process was over. For the financial portion of the vehicle, I dealt with Matt Kuhlman. He too was very helpful and knowledgeable. He worked to find the way that would save me the most amount of money. I don't often write reviews, but with the exceptional service that I was given yesterday, I felt like I should. Thank you so much for helping me so very thoroughly.

HALL HONDA is AMAZING!!
I don't know where to start with the "atta boys" for HALL HONDA. I bought my new Odyssey on December 21st. I traded in 2 cars on this one, and i totally expected to be there all day. I was pleasantly disappointed, as the entire process took 3 hours. 3 HOURS!! Thats it. 3 Hours to value 2 trades, pick out the car I wanted, test drive, finance, etc. AMAZING. This is the first car buying experience I have had that didn't raise my blood pressure. I bought the Environmental Protection Package and it was installed on Dec 30th. Totally painless, they set me up with a rental and I went about my day. I went out with the family the next day and I saw a couple of spots I wasn't totally pleased with. After a short phone call to the New Car Sales Manager (Papa Seck), I was assured that it would be to my liking. I drove up to Hall Honda and they had a loaner gassed up and ready for me. After a few hours, I returned to see my car gleaming in the sun. PERFECTION. They even topped off the gas tank for my troubles. Tarin in the Service Department made it her #1 priority to make my car right. To say the least, she exceeded my expectations. The car was perfect. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER CAR DEALER BESIDES HALL HONDA! I feel that they are 100% dedicated to customer satisfaction and will not stop short of perfection. If you want a GREAT car buying experience, head down to Hall Honda on Virginia Beach Blvd. Tell them you want the following cast to ensure the best experience: Salesman: Steve Schwartz, Sales Manager: Papa Seck, Delivery Coordinator: Max Goodloe, and Tarin in service does all of the Delivery Add Ons. You will NOT be disappointed.

I went to Hall Honda this evening to respond to an ofder, and come to find out I didn't qualify for it. However, the customer service experience was excellent! The representative was very knowledgeable, and he was excellent at building rapport with me. He asked me if I got any Christmas gifts and I responded "No, because I'm the oldest", and this look of pity was on his face. He asked me to wait a moment then came back with a small speaker that he recently purchased for himself. He GAVE it to me!! I thought that was the most AWESOME, GENEROUS thing. I usually do stuff like that for other people, but to have it done for me was a bit of a surprise. I wish this young man the best in all of his endeavors, God bless him and his loved ones.

FIRST NEW CAR
This is my third vehicle purchased thru Halll and I love them as a whole!! My last two vehicles were purchased from Hall Honda in VA Beach... the first a used Honda Accord and now my new Honda Civic. I LOVE(D) both vehicles and i know with this being a Honda it will last a long time. I really appreciate my sales rep. Byron Gray. He is the best... he makes sure he addresses all my questions and concerns as well as listens. I appreciate all his hard work and wouldn't ask for anyone else. My only (other) request would be that there was a Hall umbrella in the trunk of my new vehicle (lol). Seriously: A wonderful place to purchase a vehicle!!

Unbelievably Bad Service
If I could give this dealership 0 stars then I would. I bought a new Honda Fit about a month ago. I was lied to throughout the process on numerous occasions and when I asked that these things be corrected was treated as if I had done something wrong. First, when going through the paperwork, I was offered an environmental protection package which was described as a special coat of paint and interior coverage that would protect the appearance of the vehicle from things like spills. I decided to go with the package because I am planning to keep the car for a long time and it comes with a good warranty. I inquired about when this product would be applied and was told that it already had been. When I called back later to ask about another problem, I was told that this is incorrect and that I would need to drive back to the dealership to have it applied. I live in North Carolina and said I would not drive back, but would be willing to go to a dealership where I live to get the product applied. I was told this couldn't be done, the closest dealership I could go do was 2 hours and 45 minutes ONE WAY. When I said I wasn't interested and wanted my money back I was treated as if somehow this was my fault. There was no apology, nothing. Second, I asked that my license plates be transferred NUMEROUS times throughout the buying process. I was told that they would be transferred and that I would have temporary plates to use until I got home to North Carolina. Two weeks later I get new plates and a bill to pay property taxes. I went to the DMV to ask what was going on, and they pointed to a box on the paperwork I had signed where it said "temporary plates" - I explained that I was out of state, and the DMV person said that anytime that box is checked it means that I am getting NEW license plates. I must have said that I wanted my plates transferred at least 3 times just when signing paperwork. I have yet to call and ask why I was lied to about this, but will do so after I bring my car in. Third, a light on my car has been on since I bought it. Keep in mind this is a NEW car. The light has to do with the tire pressure system, when I bought it I was told that the light was on because the temperature had dropped dramatically overnight. I was told the light would go off after about a half hour of driving. Even now, the light is still on. I have just called a Honda dealership here and they said the temperature drop is not the reason for that light being on and that they aren't sure Honda will cover the price of the fix. I am taking my car in Wednesday and will update with any further news. Needless to reiterate, I was flat out lied to in three different situations. I am now stuck with a new car that has a warning light on, a property tax payment I have to now pay twice, and no product (environmental protection) which I was told I already had. Honestly, this new car isn't worth the hassle I have gone through in only the first month of owning it and I will never step foot in a Honda dealership again.

We apologize for the miscommunication. Your satisfaction is our only concern. We have sent the cancellation for your protection package and it should be processed. I know that we attempted to find a closer location with no success and we apologize for that. We certainly would not expect that you would pay for the tire pressure if it needs to be adjusted. It is very common this time of year with the drastic temperature changes. As for the DMV transfer, we would like to resolve your concern and look forward to working with you on this. It appears that we do not have all the paperwork required for your request but we would like to correct it.
