THEY WILL RUN YOUR TRUCK OUT OF OIL.
THEY WILL RUN YOUR TRUCK OUT OF OIL. I paid 500 dollars to have a sensor replaced. They replaced the sensor, stated in the the write up "complete 24 point visual inspection with check of fluid levels". I drive off and a few days later drive to work and nearly burn up the engine. I pull over, and find NO OIL IN THE ENGINE. I call Lonny and he tells me that "the truck probably burned 6 quarts is why theres no oil." The truck does not leak oil. It does not burn oil. The techs lied on the write up when they said they checked fluid levels. You have to be delusional to believe these people. They'll just lie to cover their own xxx Dennis Dillon GMC service department is completely untrustworthy. STAY AWAY DO NOT EVER COME HERE

So to keep this nightmare short I will just say this.
So to keep this nightmare short I will just say this. I was lied to by more than one person at this dealership during my purchase of a 2024 Terrian Denali. They told me I could not get ANY of the discounts and GM rebates if I did not do GM financing. This was a lie and tactic to make more money off of the sale. Next they listed the vechile on a thrid party web site (where I found it) almost a $1000 less than what they told me when I called on it and would not honor the listed price. Then the sales guy begged me to give him a 5 star review with a story of how much he needed it to takecare of his family. Then they rushed me out the door and failed to clean and prepare the car. It was so bad that I could not see at night through the windshield when lights hit the window. They did clean it the next day after I lost it on them. Never travel out of town for a purchase as they have you over a barrel. Even GM Financing would do nothing to make this right. I finally had to give up on them making this right with me.

We had such a great experience with Dennis Dillon GMC -
We had such a great experience with Dennis Dillon GMC - We recently purchased a a new Acadia, and came from Seattle, WA. We saved about $3,000 from our local dealer and had a great experience! They picked us up from the airport, and had us done and back on the road in less than 2 hours. This was by far the best experience and delivery that I have ever had buying a car! Thank you to the General Manager Joey, glad we were sent to you guys in Boise!

this was the worst experience I have ever had in trying
this was the worst experience I have ever had in trying to buy a new vehicle. The salesman did a good job and all was good until we went to close the deal. I was paying cash so it should have been an easy transaction. We got to the final negotiations and then came the finance guy followed by the sales manager (closer). It was all about pressure to close and force me into a deal. I left and will never be back to Dennis Dillon and will do everything I can to dissuade anyone I know from going through that painful process. As a result I went home, got on the internet and found the exact same vehicle for $2500 less and had it bought the next day. Thank you Kendall Motors.

Buyer Beware – Inept, Dishonest, or ?
Buyer Beware – Inept, Dishonest, or ??? As an out of state buyer, I took great pains to work the deal and details for a specific Sierra AT4 I saw on the Dennis Dillon (DD) website before making the trip to the dealership. Since the price was what I wanted on the truck I wanted, I was willing to sign a Non-Refundable Deposit Agreement as well as charge my credit card $1,000 to hold the vehicle. I flew into Boise on Saturday before Christmas thinking this was going to be a quick cash deal, but no. After spending four hours at the dealership dodging their up selling techniques being handed off from one specialist to another, I was finally able to hit the road out of there. Later that night, I realized DD actually charged me ($788.50) for safety equipment that was supposed to be included in the price per the signed Deposit Agreement. Being the weekend, I waited to contact the sales force on Monday. Because I had referred a friend who also was there Monday to pick up his AT4, he was able to show them in the paperwork where their error was. Late in the day (Dec. 23), I spoke to a sales manager, and he agreed that they overcharged me the $788.50 and that they would be sending me a refund check. He did say that DD only writes and sends out checks once a month, so it could take a while. Once a month(!)? This started weeks of me contacting DD by phone, email, and text, with either no response or replies that they were working on it. I had some hope when a sales manager did email me a copy of the internal DD Check Order form authorizing my refund. Several of my inquiries after that were to ask who or what department I could contact about the check. They never responded with that information, only that it was coming and to be patient. Finally, I was told by a sales manager that the check was mailed out the week of Feb. 3. It is now March and we have not received the $788.50 Refund Check, or the $100 Referral Check that was promised. I have reached out by email and phone message, asking to contact their Accounts Payable or whatever department that cuts and mails out checks, but again, no response. At this point, I can't tell for sure if they slow roll your requests (for refunds) by design, really don't know what they are doing, or don't really care. I suppose it doesn't really matter, since they get to keep my nearly $900.

Tye was our sales rep and he was Awesome.
Tye was our sales rep and he was Awesome. Very knowledgeable and patient. Didn?t try to push anything on us and was able to answer all of our questions. We had chosen the AT4X and it is an awesome truck. We had made a mistake and made assumptions about the towing capacity and it turns out, the AT4X does not tow as much as we originally thought. We quickly realized our mistake and Tye and Reggie where able to help us resolve the issue with out taking advantage of us, for that, we are extremely thankful and will be returning to them when we are ready to purchase a 2500. So if you do go with Dennis Dillion, ask for Tye. The only thing I had an issue with was the financing portion. There are some things that did not make sense, extra fees and having to use their affiliated banks to keep their incentives. Make sure you are asking financing questions if you do plan to finance a vehicle from them. But again, Tye helped us get through all of that even that part of the experience was painful.

What happened to Dennis Dillon on Orchard?
What happened to Dennis Dillon on Orchard? I’ve purchased from them in the past and had a great experience. This last experience was very poor. My wife and I test drove a ‘21 Tundra Limited. Interior was gross and when Kordell, the sales person, was told it would need a detail he acted like the concern was invalid because they all get detailed. It was wiped down at best and had spills and crumbs all over. He also asked my wife what we wanted for a trade in. She responded we weren’t going to discuss that yet he looked straight at me and asked the same question as if i would answer differently. It reminds me of a child asking mom, not liking the answer, and then asking dad hoping for a different answer. To top it all off I informed him of all the information and that’s why we won’t come back and he laughed at the message. Would not recommend Dennis Dillon GMC.
