For the last 18 years that I've been driving Audi brand automobiles, I have never dealt with a more personalized and dedicated Service Advisor at ANY dealership. EVER! My first and final impression of Mr. Clayton is that he clearly takes pride in his work and values his customers. January 14, 2017: I arrived at the service department a bit apprehensive because it was my 1st ever visit to this establishment's service department. Also, it is definitely not the most aesthetically pleasing, or the largest Audi dealership In the DFW metro area. In the past I've been lucky enough to encounter professional service advisors, so I went in with a positive mindset. I had setup my appointment with Marvin and he genuinely seemed interested to help me with my concerns, and was engaging enough that my initial discomfort and fear of shoddy workmanship, as well as possible price gouging were eased. Oil and filter change, along with visual inspections were completed within reasonable time. I was out the door in 45 minutes. April 15, 2017: Marvin took care of me on this day, a hectic Saturday, and went above and beyond what I expected from him. While many of his peers were having a "good time" (goofing off) and generally being very unprofessional, or not showing up to work (literally & figuratively), he was running like a well-timed, self-motivated machine. What impressed me the most was that after I mentioned to him my time constraints to complete the recall I had come into the shop for, Marvin personally drove my car into the service bay, instructed the mechanics the type of maintenance to be performed, and rerurned my car to the front where I could pick it up so I could be on my way! This was all completed within 60 minutes he had estimated. The technicians working on my car also seemed knowledgeable and efficient when it came to basic maintenance. However, I can't comment on their skills/knowledge dealing with major repairs yet. May 17, 2017: I began hearing squeaking noises coming from my steering wheel in the morning, and the noise progressively became worse as the day went on. So, I reached out to Marvin to see when I could come in to have the problem diagnosed? He asked me to come in as soon as possible since I let him know that I was free for the rest of the day. I arrived at 2:30 p.m. and he had already researched the possible TSB associated witht the discrepancy, and completed most of the paperwork in preparation of my arrival (this certainly put a smile on my face). I was out of the dealership at 3:30 p.m. with an attempted repair, re-diagnosis, replacement part placed on hold, and a repair scheduled for the following day! Before rerurning my car to me, Marvin double checked and verified that the problem persisted after the attempted repair, and took the time to communicate with me in detail what had been done to my car. Marvin, again, took the initiative to drive my car to the bay himself and bring it back to me without sweating it. May 18, 2018: I plan on taking my car in for it's 4th maintenance visit with Marvin helping me. I have no doubt that I, and my car will be well looked after by him. I would be very surprised if my prediction were to be incorrect. 🌟 Keep up the amazing work, Marvin! 🌟 Note to Audi of America, Owner(s) and Management: Your customers keep you in business, so please take care of employees like MARVIN CLAYTON, who in turn take care of your customers. In my opinion, he has set the bar very high as to what true customer service should be like. I know I'll be entrusting my car and my time with Marvin as long as I drive an Audi, therefore, avoiding driving to your competitors in Plano, Arlington, Fort-Worth, or even Houston. P.S. I am willing to edit my overall rating in the future if and when I see an improvement in the overall demeanor and atmosphere of the employees working here.
