I had some routine work done there (new fuel filter & filter sensor on my diesel 2500) and the next day I’m on the side of the road w/wife &... 1 year old in the truck and my camper behind me. Low fuel rail pressure code and limp mode. They sent a tow for me, which was nice, but they had it for 45 minutes and came out and said “you need new injectors, the total will be $11,000.” Holy rip off, injectors are a big deal yes, but it’s a $4,000-$6,000 job anywhere else. I had them done for $4,100 and it turned out to not even be the problem. At this point I’m $7,000 into getting my low fuel pressure problem figured out (injectors, lift pump, fuel pressure relief valve, filter head rebuild, & fuel pressure regulator all replaced between two local shops). And now it’s looking like a $40 fuel supply hose is kinking under load when it’s hot...which GM has a service bulletin explaining that is referenced all over the internet. I explained this to all 3 shops that have had it, nobody believed me. The shop that has my truck now quoted me $650 to fix the fuel line, which is steep because it’s 3ft of hose and 1.5hrs of labor according to the TSB. So I called Peterson this morning to get a quote for doing the repairs outlined in the TSB (at 7:45am) and they can’t find that TSB and she would do a little research and call me back (that was 5 hours ago). If you google GM fuel line kinking tsb it will give you 25 hits talking about it, but I explained I just want to know what the price would be for replacing 3ft of fuel supply hose from near the trans, up through firewall, to the next connection. So they wanted to charge me $11,000 to fix something that wasn’t broke, which got fixed anyways for 1/3 the price elsewhere. And they are incapable of calling a customer back unless they’re trying to talk you into buying a car. Be wary of the service department at any ‘stealership’...I expect a little higher prices, but $11k for injectors is a joke, and these guys wont even call someone back when they can’t answer your question the first time.

Found the car I was looking for quite some time. They went above & beyond to make sure the price fit my budget. AWESOME !
Hi, your wonderful feedback and rating mean a lot to us. Thank you again for choosing Peterson Chevrolet Buick Cadillac and we hope to see you again.
Very smooth and professional buying experience, this is the way it should be. Paul Serrano and the entire crew were polite, professional and listened to... what we wanted and that is what they delivered.
This dealer is extremely untrustworthy and incompetent. After coming in for an oil leak, they told me that there was not an oil leak that needed to be... repaired and convinced to make some other repairs. After those repairs were made, they came back and said that there was an oil leak after all. This was a bait and switch move used to convince me to make extra repairs. It was deceitful and dishonest. In addition, they over charged for the repairs. I could have had them done elsewhere for less money. Please do not ever send your vehicle to this location!!!!!
Thank you for your feedback. We absolutely strive to provide our customers with an efficient and professional service experience, so we are disappoint...ed to hear that yours was not up to par. Please contact us at (208) 991-0936 to discuss your concerns, as your satisfaction is of utmost importance to us.
viewed a 2013 VW GOLD TDI on internet. Emailed Rachel in internet dept. Rachel took the time to follow this car through inspection and cleanup process... and called me several days later to tell me car was ready to view. I had quick walk around with Tucker in sales and then talked with Garrett Sales Mgr about pricing. Garrett and Rachel have followed up on my interest nicely. I appreciate the whole teams attitude. We remain to far apart on pricing but I gained respect for Peterson and especially Rachel and Garrett. Gary

I have been in this site 3 times now, I have come in with the same problem ( engine revving too high and had a turbo under powered error code every time.... The first time I was told they didn't see any issues, except a bearing that needed to be replace ( was covered under warranty ) and that my Transmission was leaking fluid and that that was not covered under my warranty. when i brought it back in to get the bearing looked at i told them about the transmission fluid and they said they would take another look. they came back and told me it was actually the motor and that it was covered under warranty. I glad i didn't spend the 600 they wanted to charge to take care of the transmission. i asked them to check on the over revving issue. They came back and said it was fine. I then took it to Kendall and they let me know the ignition coil needed to be replaced. ( i have no idea how they didn't see that here!!!???) I then brought it back to Peterson on a Monday first thing in the morning. John told me they would look it over he checked to make sure it was still covered under the warranty but told me that if the issue was something other than that covered by the warranty i would need to pay for a diagnostics check as well ( i have never had to pay for the Diagnostics check both times i was here nor the time at Kendall.) he assured me that it was standard procedure and that he was doing what he was supposed to be doing and they everyone else messed up. Monday day went along i never got a phone call telling me the status, i ended up calling to check on it. for some reason no one can tell me the status of my car except for John, who isn't there so i leave a message a couple hours later I get a call back. he lets me know that They need to replace the MAP Sensor and see if that was the issue. i asked if that was covered under the warranty he said he is sure it is. He let me know the part should be in the next day. Tuesday come and it's mid day i still haven't had a call to give me a status update. I then call same routine, no one knows except for John. He calls me back a couple hours later and lets me know the part didn't make it in and that i should be in the next day. Wednesday comes and it's another repeat. Finally Thursday comes and it's mid Day i call because i hadn't heard anything and then John calls me back to tell me they finally got the sensor and that they are going to install it now and will let me know . ( during all this never was a car offered or even a thought given that i may need to actually make it to work or might not of had a car to get to work). John calls me and tells me they have the sensor installed and that it's not covered by the warranty and that i will need to pay for the part and the diagnostic fee. I asked him 'i thought you said it was covered?' he said he assumed it was. ( it is now Thursday late afternoon, I am supposed to be leaving to drive to California with this car for work Friday morning) I paid over the phone because i needed to have the car. I have my friend pick up the car and bring it to me because i was tied up with work at the hospital, and was not able to drop everything to get there in time before they closed. I am now in California and on the way up here the check engine light comes on and it's the same code and the same over revving issue i had when i brought it in. sooo i am not very happy.

Can I begin by saying wow! I have never in my life (I am not young) had a better experience buying a new car than I did at Peterson Chevrolet. My Salesman... was Doyle Savelberg. Car salesman usually have a bad rep and I hate the car buying experience and all the games. Met with Doyle told him what I was interested in, Chevy Trax All Wheel Drive. Test drove the car, got down to business no games about an hour and a half I was out the door with the deal I was looking for and the vehicle I wanted! I love my new Traxs! Trust me my next purchase will be at Peterson's from Doyle! I will recommend Doyle and Peterson's to all my friends and family?
So I bought a 2011 F-150 off their lot and overall love the truck but not Peterson's. First off the truck had a sticker on the windshield and both license... plate frames that it came with a 3 month 3k mile warranty and the sales man said the same thing. Well we get to the final paperwork and the finance lady said nope, that's for cars under 60k miles (the truck had 79k). I pushed on and bought the truck anyways. They agreed to fix the seat heater that wasn't working and told me they would call on Monday and schedule the fix. Monday comes and no call so I call the salesman and he says they'd call me the next day. Nope, no call. Finally I called the service department and same thing. No call back and on my fourth try I finally get a call back. They fixed the seat and that was fine. Then I tried to get a copy of the carfax for my records. I emailed the salesman and he replied that because it was off the website that he couldn't do anything and that his sales manager would call me back. No surprise I never get a call back. I called again and talked to the receptionist and told her that I didn't want to talk to the salesman anymore and please leave my message with a manager. Well no call back and I tried one more time and never got a call back. At that point I had had enough and gave up. Overall poor experience and no service once the sale is over. I won't be returning there for my next truck.
Philip, thank you for alerting us to your situation. We appreciate the opportunity to look into this further for you. We recently transitioned from Ca...rfax Vehicle History Reports to Autocheck Vehicle History Reports. They are very similar and provide much of the same information. A copy of this report has been left with our General Sales Manager, Chris Poluhoff. If you reach out to him directly he can print or email you a copy. You can reach Chris at 208-323-5000 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Additionally, he will be able to to help you further with the clarification on the 90 day No Worries used car warranty. Your vehicle may be covered. Thank you.
My first visit to the dealership didn't go so well as i drove from out of town and the car wasn't there when I called an hour prior. However, Nicky came... up to me and was very apologetic and said he would keep in contact with me... which he did. An suv came in and he texted me right away. I went in on his day off and met with Tommy who was awesome. Both Nicky and Tommy went above and beyond and turned my first experience into me being a very happy, pleased customer and purchased the vehicle I wanted!!! I cant say thank you enough to the team I dealt with. Ask for Nicky or Tommy if you want A+ service!!!
I purchased an extended mechanical Zurich warranty. Shortly after purchasing my car the radiator went out. Took it to Chevy for a repair. They "repaired"... it. Less than six months later, same issue. This repeated on three different occasions till I finally took it to another dealership and they told me it had a blown head gasket causing the radiator issues. Took it back to Chevy to repair the head gasket and my warranty was up. They won't fix it. Even though you would think after repairing the same thing on multiple occasions they would have discovered the head gasket. Now I can't afford to fix it when it could have been fixed the first time under warranty. Single mom of two who used the car strictly as a work commuter.
