    I was told when I arrived that I was wrong about having a nail in my tire. A condescending woman told me I couldn’t know that, it was “just the weather”... and not an emergency. She was wrong and I was right, and I needed a new tire. I did not appreciate her calling me a liar and not believing me because I was a woman. When the new tire was added, I was given an invoice with MY MALE RELATIVE’S name and home address on it. This male relative lives out of state and had nothing to do with the purchase of this car or its insurance or any of my finances. I found it to be very strange and frightening, as I am concerned how they have that information and why they chose to put his name on the invoice, instead of me, the purchaser, owner, and insurer of the vehicle. Very sketchy.

    Usually the stress of car buying gives me hives - not this time. From the moment I walked in the door to the minute I drive off the lot in my new (to... me - it was certified preowned) car, my experience at Ira Subrau was positive and free of any pressure. I knew what I wanted when I went, which may have made things easier, but the negotiating process, pricing, trade in, and finance was seamless - and painless. I had the pleasure of working with Josh, Leo and Juan, and even the GM, Roscoe, checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. I would highly recommend this dealership. Hopefully I don't need another car anytime soon, but when I do, I will definitely return to this sales team.

    From the moment I met Maria, she was cheerful and a good listener. She was attentive and engaged throughout the whole leasing process. She makes the... difficult process of leasing a car and trading in, go smoothly and efficiently. Maria is there for you from start to finish. As an extra bonus she has a good sense of humor and prides herself as a knowledgeable saleswoman and caretaker. I really couldn't ask anymore of her.

    Please do yourself a favor and buy from Ira Subaru and do it with Devin. I have ALWAYS had bad luck buying pre-owned vehicles from dealerships. Always.... I have purchased vehicles from the honda dealership in natick, toyota in roxbury, and both vehicles sold to me were junk and a bad deal. This time, I did my research and found my car at Ira. Every single question that I had, Devin provided me an answer or was kind enough to get the answer instead of telling me, « NO ». I was impressed that Devin went above and beyond with the service and ensuring the vehicle was up to my standards. Its a pre-owned car but right now I have not been able to pick one problem with the car and even after purchase any questions that I still had, devin was attentive and did not hesitate to respond. Buying a pre owned car can be stressful but I know that my experience was due having an experienced and well rounded sales associate, Devin, to help me getting the car - AT AN AMAZING DEAL by the way.

    Free Coffee! that is where the good ends. They will sweat you out for hours, give you paperwork to sign with some interesting fine print, read it all.... Doc fee is $ 495.00 Dealer prep /- $500 and they tax it how ever they want. The total of the car increased with every document.

    Had a nifty app that walked me through recommended repairs and it allowed me to 'order' them online and told me how much they would be. The one flaw was... that the app didn't know I had already prepaid my standard services, so it made it look like it was going to charge me for items typically included in the standard service.

    Be wary of their postings - and perhaps more. A posting had a quote available at a particular (and very appealing price) - well below MSRP. When I inquired... about it, they told me that that particular car was already sold, but they had another vehicle thousands of dollars more available. All of that would be fine, except the car they claimed they sold at their advertised price still remains as a car for sale on the www.cars.com website - it appears that they deliberately post a price that is the lowest to pull you in... then try to engage you in another, more expensive car - the classic bait and switch. If this is their practice, I'm be skeptical about everything else.

Additionally, I am very happy that you a...gree that our prices are "very appealing" and we offer outstanding deals each and every day! I also appreciate you pointing out that "when you inquired" you were told that it was sold. That is true, we don't believe in having our customer's come down unless the vehicle is available at the time of their call. If the vehicle is available, we strongly encourage each customer to place a 100 percent refundable deposit if they are strongly interested in the vehicle. When you in fact called, the vehicle was sold and we stand by that 100 percent . We can not take it off our website until the vehicle is actually paid for, in your case a customer placed a deposit on it so it would be available when they arrived later in the day to complete the paperwork. As for cars.com, they are a third party company with no affiliation with Ira Subaru. Their systems feed off our system with a bit of a lag, so if the car is still on our web site, then good chances it will be on theirs as well. Again, we have no control of third party web sites and I would advise you and the many consumers reading this to always call the dealership for the most updated information on the vehicle of interest. In regards to your assertion that we "bait and switch", nothing could be further from the truth and I am disappointed that you would make that statement.
