Alfa did a nice job with the new Giulia
Sporty and fun to drive. Great exterior styling with beautiful deep red paint. Interior has a little too much plastic, and the gear selector can be a little wonky, but other than that, a great daily driver.

Mixed Emotions
Excellent driving and looking car. Plenty of complements on how the car looks and rides. Have had 2 somewhat serious service issues. First, at 1K miles, electrical system went berserk, spent 3 weeks at the dealer with no actual repair performed. Have driven the car 12K miles since without another occurrence. 2nd, turbocharger became increasingly noisy around the 10K mile service. Dealer replaced the turbo under warranty. Overall, I would compare the build quality to other European makes that I have owned. Dealership experience varies, so do your homework.

Best Car I've Owned
The Alfa Romeo Giulia is by far the best car I have ever purchased, driven, and ridden in. It has plenty of features that I use on a day to day basis, in particular Waze through Android Auto and the seat and steering wheel warmers. The performance of the vehicle is great, the styling is unlike any other vehicle on the road, and it is so much fun to drive! People often give me compliments and tell me how great the car looks. It would take a lot for me to purchase another manufacturer and I'm already looking forward to purchasing my next Alfa Romeo in some years time.

Can?t wait to buy one!
I have had my eye on this car for quite some time now. I finally test drove it a few weeks ago and fell in love with it even more! I love how uniquely designed it is and all the features it has to offer. I?ll definitely be buying one within the next couple of months!

20,000 miles and no issues!
I previously reviewed this car shortly after I purchased it. I could not comment on the reliability at that time. Since then it's been to Chicago, Nashville and all points in between. 20,000 miles later still love the car and not a single issue!

Stop wasting time: get one
Wanted one ever since I first saw them advertised, but hadn't seen many on the streets. Combine that with Alfa's (and FCAs) notorious quality control issues, I was very hesitant to get one. Not sure why I waited, this is the best car I've ever owned. Had one small problem early on, but that isn't any different than my experience with Bimmer and Benz, and the Alfa flat blows them away when you're behind the wheel. Steering and handling: are perfect. Perfect. There is no other word. I hated the feel on every single steer-by-wire car, until this one. It feels alive in a way none of the others do. I have no idea how they did it, but the steering feedback I loved in previous generations of performance cars is back, sans the steering column. Acceleration and braking: breath-taking. One note, have seen a lot of complaints with jerky starts and stops. And that can be an issue. Deactivate the auto start/stop feature and the takeoffs smooth out nicely. And for stops, be patient with yourself. It took me about two months of driving to get smooth on stops again - brakes are very touchy - but once I did have had no problems. Styling: c'mon? You really need me to tell you? Interior: Is fantastic looking, and the controls are super intuitive once you get used to them. Issues with materials quality are real, frankly fairly minor, but it is clear that Alfa put the bulk of their lira into the performance side of the car. But while the materials could use a little boost (they seem to me somewhere just South of BMW, North of Toyota), the fit, finish and interior design are outstanding. Much cleaner and less distracting than the competition. Reliability: Had one small issue early on (bad fuel pump), but nothing in since. Summation: what the heck are you waiting for?

Overall perfect package for a sporty sedan
Coming from a modded 335i I had my concerns regarding power of a four cylinder but it is more responsive in a lighter package and more agile than my E90. I am craving more power but it is still stock and won?t be for long. It seems like I can push it to its limits where the 335i I couldn?t. Steering is very responsive and it feels light but there is some quirkiness with throttle and paddle shifting to get used to. TI Sport package is the way to go and there are some power mods available to increase power to about 350 chp. Can?t wait to give it more hp but it is fun to drive and gets heads turing. People will sometime stop and ask what it is on a daily commute.

Best handeling car I?ve ever driven
With only downside being a spotty dealer network with questionable reliability, which is typical for a first generation new model. It?s one of the best looking cars in the segment and the detuned, smaller, Ferrari based engine makes the car a savage rocket ship coupled with a phenomenal ZF 8 speed transmition and handling that?s on another level. Makes sense it held the record on the Nurburgring for sedans when it debut.

super fun but has drawbacks
recently bought 2ltr petrol 200hp middle of the range giulia. impressive driving experience and interior styling. turns heads as not that many around. let down by poor quality control coming out of factory and a few other quirks. reliability: had to take it back to dealer 4 times in first month. issue with multimedia system (physically replaced), panel around door, and broken hood opening (twice). exterior: real head turner, especially viewed from front. the rest of exterior not all that special. interior: clean, functional, beautiful and a joy to see. classic stuff. comfort: driver seat not that great in lumbar support, slightly cramped in back. the boot quite small. multimedia: navigation very basic compared to competition, and ugly. hard to select tracks from usb (folder navigation not very flexible). ride: the best thing around, far above bmw 3 series. the most enjoyable car i have ever owned.
