Great car Mechanically, Software is Terrible
This is my 5th audi and I really want to love this car, It drives great, has great power and the finishes are nice. Unfortunately, the User experience with the MMI is horrible. This is absolutely the worst car I have ever owned and It's all software. The car loses radio and telephone stored favorites with regularity, Audi acknowledges this problem but doesn't have a fix???? How is this?? Audi's have had this issue for several years with no reliable fix. This is ridiculous, cars have had the ability to store radio favorites since the first car radios with pushbuttons were introduced in the 1930's. My workaround for this was to use and old iPhone as a music server. This works ok until the car randomly determines that no usb device is connected every 10 startup's or so. Audi says that this is normal behavior and that they expect you to connect your usb device each time you get in the car. Well, I had a 2013 Audi Q5 and had an iPhone connected to the MMI with no problems for almost 10 years. No random disconnection. Just another cas of Audi ignoring their software problems. The key memory doesn't work properly, When I get in the car in the morning after my wife has been driving the car, the MMI fails to adjust the seats, adjust the mirrors or apply any stored MMI settings. The dealer says that it is working fine, but I can tell you that it isn't. The user concept is totally screwed up. The idea that that you have to load a users' setting from someplace in the cloud each time the car is started is ill-conceived. What happens when you are in an underground garage? When it works, this puts a significant delay on the loading of the system. Last time I checked 128 Gigabytes of local storage can be bought for less than $50. $50 on a Fifty thousand dollar car, Hmmmmm.... In a household like mine where you have multiple people driving the same car, a one to two minute delay each time a different person gets in the car is unacceptable. I have been driving Audi's since 1988 during the Sudden Acceleration debacle. I have always loved their understated elegance and engineering. Their cars have gotten too complex and are overengineered to the point that they can't reliably deliver their feature set. Their programmers are making decisions that don't reflect the reality of how people actually use their cars. Be aware that once you buy one of these and experience these problems, you are stuck. It is going to cost me around twenty thousand dollars to get out of this car after owning it for 8 months. JUST TERRIBLE!!!!!

Huge Technology improvements from 2020 to 2023
I'm a dedicated Audi driver, so I may be bias but this is my favorite car ever! The technology difference between my Audi 2020 SQ5 and this one is huge. Touch screen navigation is a game changer. So many things - I cannot recommend this car any higher!

Great Car
I love this car, i previously own a Range Rover what a nightmare, was not worth the money, problems with car/dealership... I decided to go back to audi after researching many other cars in the same price range and found this SQ5 to be the best deal for the money..
