Drive me faster

Bot an '03 325i in '05 with 28k miles. Tight, quick handling and good performance for a 3ltr. normal asprd. Now has 125k and same comments. Fastest I've been is abt. 138mph. If you don't mind driving 55mph it'll get nearly 40mpg in fairly flat country. Course you'll occasionally get people honking and waving. Love the car. PS One reviewer mentioned 3rd row seats and another mentioned all wheel drive?????

Almost perfect

I now have 122k on the odometer. This car drives and performs like the day I bought it. Tight, no funny noises, no loose handling, great engine performance. Two catches though. Expensive to maintain and the electrical system has required more than usual attention (under warranty fortunately)

greatly disappointed

To many major repairs for a car this age and supposed quality and engineering. I am also disappointed with the service tech at the dealership.

Simply the best!

Purchased this car used with 50k on it. It now has 60k and I absolutely love it. It is very sound mechanically, quick, and the all wheel drive is a plus. This is my first BMW and it certainly wont be my last, they are awesome. They are well worth the money.

Nice to look at and drive...but

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my 325ci coupe. It looks great, drives wonderfully and gets great gas milage. My only complaint is that as soon as the warranty went out, the clutch went out and was VERY expensive to replace. ($3,400!!! @ 79,000 miles) The quality and reliability is a little iffy but not as bad as others. Other than a few minor maitenence incidences, I could not be happier with the car and its performance and styling make up for other short comings

Not so fast!

I believe this car is be benefiting from its predesessors' reputation rather than its own attributes. It's possitives are its styling. Other than that don't be fooled by it. For about half the price an Accord beats it in performance, handeling, efficiency and most of all reliability. Before you buy this car make sure to review its maintenance interval and the cost. You have to replace the brakes every 25K miles. And not just the pads, but the rotors, too, at a wopping cost of $1400 per incidence. This is just one example. Buy at your own peril!

Nicest vehicle I have owned

I replaced an older Saab Turbo convertible with the 325XI Sports Wagon. The cabin is extremely comfortable and it handles beautifully. More than adequate power for my needs. Needed AWD for the long Vermont winters and this car is hands down superior to any SUV I have driven. Getting 27 MPG on the road, 22 about town which is adequate. Can't recommend it highly enough for small families or dog lovers who want room for their gear but an elegant ride.

best car in its class!!!

i have bought this car used and i am glad to say this is the best car i could have bought. Mpg is satisfying where i get on average 17 in the city and 28 hwy. the car handles amazingly and is really one of the most fun cars to drive in its class. the interior and exterior styling is well designed. The only flaws of the car being insulation problems and sensors keep going off. I would definately say this car is worth the money!!!

Great fun vehicle! Gets tons of looks!

I have had this car since 2003 and really love it. I have had a Toyota Spyder, plus many other sports cars (Honda, Toyota, Mercedes) The BMW has been the best bet! It is a real fun car to drive with many great features! I love the interior of the car as it has many sporty features. The seats are great with a sporty feel. The premium sound system with the cd changer is great. A real fun car!
