One of the most reliable cars I have owned
the car has everything I want in a car excluding navigation but in that year it was very expensive to get a car with navigation but the drive the reliability the all-wheel-drive is great in the snow you feel the power

Smooth Drive
It was a good size for someone that is not as large. It was a quiet smooth drive. Perfect getup like a BMW should have. My car had a touch screen added to it but without that I would probably want a little more value for my money. The outside is decent looking. Overall great car.

Personality
The E46 has more personality than any other car I?ve driven. It?s fast and quick around turns yet has 4 doors and is very comfortable. The next step up for comfort would be a little more room but the compact size of the car is what makes it such a ready beast with the Inline 6 in the front. Keep traction control on!!

Most reliable car Ive owned
Perfect car for city driving and road trips. A lot of cargo space. Seats fold down, you have a large moving capacity or space to sleep.

All weather Convertible, I drive it all year!
This car was an affordable convertible for me. I loved it. I have had it for 4 years. I commute to work in it, I drive it all year. Yes, even in the snow. With snow tires, it handles great in the snow! Top down any time the temp is above 55 degrees, which is a lot in Colorado!

My very first and most reliable car
I was warned about BMW cars by my friends because of the fear of having to constantly fix and purchase expensive parts for it. I decided to purchase it and i?ve had it for about 5-6 years with no problems. I?m in love with this car.

a beautiful coupe
I owned this 325Ci coupe from new until 2017, putting 114,000 miles on it. While it was expensive to maintain it never left me stranded. it has only 184 hp and thus severely underperforms a 330 Ci.

Good daily driver, nothing more
I bought a 2004 BMW 325XI from my boss when I was working at a car dealership. Got a helluva deal on it due to it needing some very minor work and me being a casual DIY mechanic. Paid $2000 for the car, needed a valve cover gasket, changed gasket and oil and detailed, turned around and sold the car for $4500, 6 months later. The car was pretty well made, looked decent for the age, minimal rust, did very well in the snow with the AWD system. However, despite BMW's reputation for being the "ultimate driving machine," that should probably be reserved for their "M" models because good lord was this car BOOOORRRRRRIIIIIINNNNGGGGGG. EXTREMELY slow, mediocre braking, mediocre handling. Nothing felt loose, everything was tight, probably hindered by the slush box auto and heavy AWD system, but I dont get the hype over BMW and Ive owned all of the euros now, from Audi, BMW, Saab, Volvo, Mercedes, and Volkswagen. My current Lexus isnt much to write home about either, as far as driving dynamics are concerned, but thats not what people buy Lexus for. The Bimmer interior looked nice, but the seats were hard as a rock, soft touch materials just didnt feel very premium, and even with the Harmon Kardon sound, the stereo was a joke. I'm actually probably being a little harsh on the car because it was bullet proof reliable and got decent gas mileage, but thats why I'd say it was really a good commuter car and nothing more.

Very Rare and Extremely well Kept
I've always been a fan of BMW and their early models are a testament to great design and craftsmanship! This car was purchased new in Sarasota and garage kept. Maintenance was either performed at the dealer or at a franchise car repair facility. Everything on this car works including the very rare navigation system! These 325s have a great reliability factor as I've had them with as many as 210k miles and they always got me there in comfort and safety! For the money you can't find a better value!
