Wanted one since the 80s, didn't disappoint

The positives are almost too many to name: legendary smooth inline 6 engine, plenty of power(I have the 6 speed manual- this is one of the few cars at this level that even comes with manual), every square inch very well finished with good materials solidly fitted, classic styling, state of the art safety features, incredibly nimble handling for a car of its weight, quiet at highway speed, excellent base model stereo, AWD gives a very secure road feel both in rain and snow. The negatives are far less important, but bear mentioning: The base model seats are adequate but hard to adjust perfectly. The suspension bottoms out ridiculously easily, causing panic and I would assume, premature wear. It has no spare tire, just run flats, and although I have been lucky in the past with blowouts, I would have preferred a spare tire. The run flat solution is more appropriate for a smaller car with no room at all for the spare; the 3-series is big enough to fit one in had they tried. Overall, I have been incredibly pleased with my purchase and have enjoyed every mile of the 20k I have driven so far. BMW has increased their reliability and I personally have only need to fix very trivial problems.

Best Car Ever

The combination of handling, cornering force, stability at any speed, and braking on this car is like a pure sports car. But the car has space for cargo and passengers. The X-Drive has amazing traction in all New England weather, making it an extraordinary year-round daily driver. I always have fun driving this car. Six-speed manual is a joy. Steering has perfect feel and weight. Ride is firm but supple (on large bumps the sport suspension and run-flats combine to produce resounding thwacks). Even without performance tires, the cornering limits are so high that you will scare the snot out of your passenger way before you slide. The 328 has adequate accleration for spirited driving, and a very workable torque curve mated well to the gear ratios. Plenty fast for anything legal, but not a street racer. Most features are very well sorted out - seats are superb; no buffeting with sunroof open at any speed, windows up or down; automatic wiper system works well; upgrade stereo sounds great. Cruise control is easy, flexible and dead accurate. The Bluetooth phone connetction works fine, good mic and tie-in with speakers. The voice command system is something I never got used to, and the stern man's voice that yells at you when you make a mistake is comical. A few oddities - interior trunk release is almost at foot level on the driver side; built-in remote control for garage door does not work without the engine running - even if the key is in. Good fuel economy (25 mpg avg, up to 30 hwy), and flawless reliability after 43,000 miles. (I did have one corona marker lamp burn out - $0 under warranty.) I have never been so pleased with a purchase of anything as I am with this phenomenal vehicle.

CPO - BMW 328xi - Best Bang for the Buck

I am not dissappointed in the least! This is the best car I have ever owned! The best bang for the buck, only 38661 miles, and the warranty goes out to 100,000 miles! Great features and packages included, many options also. More than I would have gotten on a new car. And the price, the best thing about this purchase: $22,550, out the door! BMW - THE Ultimate Driving Machine! cars.com, THE ulitmate buying site!

Sports car with 4 doors

This is like owning a sports car that has 4 doors, especially with the sports package. The sports package gives it a stiffer suspension, larger wheels and summer tires, which makes for amazing handling. The ride is definitely firmer, but still smooth. The sport package also brings with it a couple of great seats, which hug you in place and adjust in almost every way. The manual adjustments can take some getting used to, especially if someone else drives the car and changes them. Get the power seats if you can. I'm getting 21-30 mpg, averaging about 25. The sport mode of the auto transmission (all auto trannies have this) is a wonderful feature; with much crisper shifts and holds the gear longer. You can also shift manually if you so desire. The 328 may not be as fast as a 335, but it's still plenty fast, and gets better mileage. The back seat is a bit cramped, but at least it seats 3 unlike a lot of sport coupes. Even though it costs a little more than some other sport sedans, BMW quality and performance make it a great value.

Quite good

Certified pre owned is the way to go on luxury sedan's if you have a limited budget and you want to drive a luxury car without paying brand new sticker price with the peace of mind that it comes with warranty.

Great car

Great car. Nice exterior design and clever conveniences built in for the driver and passenger. Somewhat expensive maintenance costs but overall, an excellent driving experience.

2007 BMW 328i

I bought this car from a high-end dealer. The car was an exec's who only used it for 3800 miles, so I snapped it up. I can only say if you are going to pay $30K for a used car, you must look into this model. Everything they say about BMW's handling, acceleration, road-hugging ability, etc. is true. You simply have to experience it. I look forward to getting into this car every day-there is no price for that feeling. I have a coupe which further streamlines the exterior. Worth every penny. I will have this car a long time and the renewable maintenance program will reduce any breakdown fears.
