10 years of driving pleasure

My wife drove this car for 10 years to work, shopping and bringing the kids to school. It drives and handles very well, and does very well on snowy hills, both up and down. The car is reliable, fast and sporty. I enjoyed the chances I had to drive it.

Solid car, fun to drive

Had some minor issues that get expensive but the smooth quiet ride is worth it. Lots of creature comforts and the winter package is great.

A great commuter, equally good for longer trips

BMW E90 is still considered a better car than the current (outgoing) F30 generation - and for a good reason. It has remained a true driver's car icon even six years after it was discontinued. In 2009 328i underwent a major facelift which made it look even sportier and more visually appealing. N52 Inline-6 engine is reliable following years of development, fairly frugal, especially on the highway speeds (for a 3.0L engine), and packs some serious punch with its 230 hp. Mechanics know these cars well and it is fairly easy to have one fixed if something goes wrong.

Fun car to drive

This is the best performance car among the similar class such as C Class or A4. Handling, exhaust, response are the best. However, maintenance is not easy at all just like other German cars. This is my 3rd BMW and I knew I need to spend certain money to maintain this car. If you are looking for a daily car that has decent performance, I recommend this car. If you want a comfort & reliable car, I do not recommend this car at all.

Maintenance can be expensive

While this car is sporty and fun, staying on top of the maintenance can be an expensive challenge. Excellent handling, and it gets you from point A to point B in style. It's definitely a precision machine, but it would be great if there wasn't so much plastic that can wear out in the engine compartment.

It has been a very good car for me.

I bought this car 5 year ago and it?s been a very good car. No major problem, it?s powerful for the engine size and great handling.

Stylish and distinctive

Fun to drive, handles well. Drove smooth like a luxury car, yet fast and tight like a sports car. Good size not too small or too large.
