My 328d is averaging 35 MPG in City traffic
Very good all around car. My only dislike is the uncomfortable front seat, particularly for a loaded $53,000 car with premium interior. All the special little and big features on the car are a real treat and appreciated. Some did not come with my '12; Slass 350 diesel. And the dealership service experience has been a 10++++

Superior German Technology
This car represents the superior German technology. Car is very reliable and very gas efficient. It runs on diesel which can sound weird but you can totally feel the difference. Totally recommend it.

Great performance. Fuel economy is unreal.
This car is perfect for my long commutes. Fuel economy is awesome, I average 40 mpg or better if I keep it at about 1700rpm. (Around 70mph). My Brother in his 60's is a car enthusiast, he could not believe the power and handling, could'nt believe it was 4 cylinder diesel.

Best commuter car ever!
Perfect for commuting... I go 150 miles daily. 40 MPG. Oil changes every 10K miles only. Plenty of power, and amazing interior comfort (for two)... Back seat is tight.

328d Fuel Pump concerns
My 2014 328d with 40k miles had a fuel pump fail and disintegrate. Fortunately it was covered under warranty and BMW dealer replaced the pump, fuel lines, injectors, and fuel tank, basically the entire fuel delivery system due to metal parts that disintegrated. The cause could have been bad gas. Diesel fuel I'm told is not regulated the same as gasoline, and contaminated fuel (condensation or dirt) easily finds its way into local gas stations' tanks. Now I only fill up at heavily trafficked gas stations where the diesel supply should get replenished frequently. Now at 60k, the car is otherwise trouble free. The extra torque with the diesel and the MPG 40 - 42 and I can't complain. I'll buy another one when this hits 100k and my after market extended warranty is up. My previous was a 2007 530i, and my experience is that after about 5 or 6 years, you get unexpected, annoying, and high cost repairs. Enjoy the BMW, just be sure you're OK paying for its entertainment value.

First BMW
I've had my used 2014 BMW 328d Sports Wagon for just two weeks. It has 43K miles on it. I am very impressed with the performance, ride, fit/finish, and gas mileage of the car. I've been looking at a diesel for more than a year and very happy with my purchase. The styling of the Sports Wagon makes it like nothing else on the road. The wagon has the room of at SUV and the handling of the sedan, and for a BMW that is what it's all about. I've only had the car a short time but looking forward to many years with this car and a few updated reviews.

Love our 328d Wagon
Bought our used 328d with about 40,000 miles on it last fall, to replace a VW Sportswagen diesel. We wanted the wagon for room and love the low, sporty, aerodynamic styling of this model. We've already taken two 2,000 mile trips and we fight over who gets to drive. Its a dream on the highway; performance, comfort, styling. We purchased the extended warranty because we've never owned a BMW, so we're unsure of its upkeep costs. We're hoping for the best because this is our perfect car so far.

In the shop all the time
I have had problems with my 2014 BMW 328d which now has 53k on it. As soon as it comes out of shop, I will be trading it in for a Lexus which hopefully won't leave me stranded on my commute home. Latest problem is an entire fuel system replacement (car stalled out on freeway, was very scary) Exhaust Manifold replacement at 45-47K Bought it used with 27k, have all fluids and oil changes done regularly.
