Very Used and High Mileage. Still a Perfect Car.

Our girl had one owner and had extraordinary care. Until they traded it and another owner neglected it for 2 years until we got a hold of it. We replaced boots, fuel pump, belts, hoses and a few other sundry parts that are known to give up at 150K or before. If you have the money and experience to deal with one of these cars, nothing compares to them. In our experience, parts/repairs have always been completely polar experiences with the BMW's...either a stupidly easy fix and inexpensive part or something more involved that takes time to deal with. No inbetweens. These old E46es are the most well-engineered cars on the planet for not that much money. This car, at this age and mileage, *will* break down. But we'll pluck off the part or fix whatever it is and go right back down the road, because you cannot kill this car. My little girl is a 5 spd, all options, with that untouchable engine. 3 years in and thousands of miles later, she looks and drives like nearly new. If you detest driving as much as I do, this snotty, strong, responsive car will help you get through it.

Money Pit

This car has been a money pit. In the last year I have spent much more than the car is worth trying to get it up to snuff. Once I get there, something else breaks. Most recently the AC went out and the mechanic wanted $1700 to fix it. For a $3000 car? No thanks. This engine drinks a quart of $10 synthetic oil every 350 miles. It is fabulous to drive though. Handling is incredible and I will miss that aspect of it. I plan to never own another German car again.

excellent value

we were looking for a reliable car for $7-$9K and started with Accord or Camry. We found for the same money we could get a better equipped BMW. the car is a dream, handles well, good fuel economy and is also amazingly nice on the highway.

Super fun car

I love my 330i convertible. The one I purchased was very well maintained. It has some power, although not the fastest car on the road, but enough for American roads. I drive about 300 miles a week, mostly on mountain roads, and I really enjoy it. It also has some bells and whistles that were pretty cutting edge for 2003. Typical for BMW, the fun tech things are 10 years ahead of most other cars. Things like automatic windshield wipers (rain sensing), auto headlight dimmer, really cool auto tinting review mirror (it doesn't tilt, it turns green), heated seats, Dynamic suspension control, anti lock brakes, and other cool safety features. I bought this car to replace a 1996 328i convertible. The technology jump was huge! The car also feels much more substantial than my last one, and more so than other cars of it's size. It really doesn't feel like a little car. After all, they don't call it the ultimate driving machine for nothing.

Exceptional Car

Bought 2003 BMW 330Ci convertible with 62,000 miles from dealer in Dallas that I found on Cars.com. Car was prepped, clean, and ready to drive the 300 miles back home. This is my second BMW convertible, and I feel you cannot beat the combination of an affordable sports car with looks and reputation as a BMW 3 series. This car has an exceptional 5-speed automatic transmission which shifts flawlessly, and a beautiful color combo of tan interior with steel blue exterior with a blue soft top. Car is nimble, fast, and has room for four adults when you need to drive visitors around with the top down and show them the "town" from a whole perspective!! The 330Ci has 225 hp, which matched my 1999 BMW M3. I would recommend this car as an affordable alternative to a same year M3 which would cost about $5,000 more.

This is my second 330CI. My first one was an 2001 now I have an 2003. Both are the best cars I've ever owned. BMW mean it when they say "Ultimate Driving Machine"

BMW's are the best

Found car online. The description of car was completely different than what the car was. The only thing that was right was year, make, and model. All interior descriptions were wrong. And evem know the guy i bought it from wouldnt budge on the price, i still got it for 2k less than what its worth. Thanks car finder.
