Was the only choice. Right size, right fun, right utility. After a month of driving, better than I thought it would be.

More performance than most people utilize
Bmw is a great all around performance sedan. The Grand Coupe lift back provides ample room for storage. Performance is more than what most people will ever bother to explore. Car comes alive in the sport plus mode. Always finds the right gear and allows for modest drift in this mode. Mileagon highway is approximately 29-31mpg. Around town mpg depends on how hard you hit the Turbo's Seats could be mie comfortable. Leather is not soft, feels like vinyl. Engine sound is invigorating. Car is very quick. Run flat tires do not belong on the M package. Replace them asap to gain performance and improved ride.

Fun Car to drive
I was choosing between Lexus IS 350 F sport and 435i. I decided to go with BMW as the driving experience was better. I got the Estoril Blue with M sport package 18" wheels, Technology package, Driver assistance package, Harmon Kardon audio, Lighting package, with top/side view cameras. Great performance and agility. Love the exterior styling. Great trunk space. Love the heads up display. The BMW app I use all the time (I send directions straight from my phone to car so I don't have to manually input the directions). Decent gas mileage. Things I did not like: -Run flat tires - makes the care feel heavy. -I think the interior can be more updated (ie. Dashboard, red lighting) -Less head room than the 3 series -When connected to bluetooth, there quite a delay in changing songs. Options I would add: -Adaptive M suspension.

2016 435i xDrive Mineral White Grand Coupe
Love it! Much sportier than the 3 series and performance is much better than my x5. Totally different car of course but I did lose some luxury items from the 5 to the 4 series which is to be expected for example rear window shades, automatic sun roof shade, larger storage compartments etc. but these are really not noticeable and would not deter me. I am only 5'3" so the limited headroom due to the coupe styling isn't an issue. Headroom is even less in the back seat but hey I didn't buy the car for my passengers right?I don't think I'm getting the gas mileage of 20k in the city - its more like 11k but this maybe due to break in period and hot dogging it around in sport mode :). Also the gas tank is small maybe 13 gal so seems like I'm always filling up. At least the fill ups are cheep right now even with premium 93 octane. We shall see how gas mileage is on an upcoming road trip and whether the AWD is worth it on slippery roads in the winter or if it takes away from performance compared to the non AWD version I test drove. In all I love my 435ix GC and get tons of compliments on the car. The upgraded 19in wheels really make it and would highly recommend over the basic stock option wheels.

Fun, spunky and attractive
I purchased a 435 Gran Coupe in February after having a 550 for three years This car is quicker and has better handling so more fun to drive. Not quite as comfortable for me, i'm 6' and the bigger car has better seats. But the 435 is great in traffic and there is very little turbo lag with this engine. Also it sounds sportier in that the exhaust is throatier. Lastly i think you will like the styling versus the standard 3 series or an Audi 4 or Mercedes C.
