It’s such a good car you can drive it forever leave it in the cold store it for months and you will never have an engine problem if you take care of it except some interior electrical problems just because of its age for example before mine was repaired the steering wheel and seat would move by themselves but overall very fast good gas milage on the highway very comfortable and a surprisingly big trunk overall 9 out of 10

I think is no problem with this car and I love it but I like sport car and I want sale this car only because I want sport car.

Drove for then years. Went from 1997 740i to new Infiniti fx45, mazda cx9, mercedes e class, chevy volt and went back to e38 for another 5 years till now. 2000 740i with m sport package absolutely blast to drive. I have everything done on my car including whole cooling, gaskets, vanos front rear suspension and ride is absolutely rewarding.

740il has plenty of legroom to stretch out and play in the back! Ceiling is high so head space is huge. This car is powerful and solid like a tank! Definitely safety is utmost importance so if you hit another car, you will survive in this BMW due to plenty of crumble zone and solid structure! This car was the best car that have driven. I drove this car from ny to fl, ny to chicago and ny to Canada this car didnt left my road very reliable. This car is very smoth ride and you dont feel it even whne you drive 90 mph . The back has so much space no body fight for front seat because there is more room in back then the front.

This is the very best car I have ever driven. Driven 911, 740il, 750iL etc. None compare to the 2000.

I love the ride but I have rebuilt the front end; rebuilt the transmission; replaced the water pump; replaced the head gasket;.etc. I have 120k miles on it and spent over $10,000 on repairs. Currently the display does not work. Be prepared to spend $2000 per year on this car.

I just bought a 740i BMW 4 door for1.850 its white and its in perfect shape nothing wrong with it everything works on it I mean everythingit came with 19inch crome rims and a audio system rides perfect and fast NICE

I love this car. I have put 4k miles on it in a month with one issue. The fuel level sending unit says I have 75 miles to go and I ran out of gas for the first time in my life. The car is comfortable and has too many options that all work! I just sold an infiniti so I am not worried about the price of the fix. I just don't want it to break often that is why I bought this car with 99k on it. I drive 1100 per week and cannot afford to break down ever 2k. And it doesn't. With my bad neck and my wife's bad back the seats are like heaven. Handling is amazing, like you are not driving a 2 ton vehicle. Fast and agile! A true drivers machine.
