A whole lot of car for the money

I bought my M3 (e92) as a fun car for occasional use on track. It’s a project car really, and I’ll upgrade the car as I can afford to do so. So far I’ve had the car out on track twice, without any modifications apart from better pads and racing fluid for the brakes. The car handles extremely well, and performance in the high rev range is astonishingly good for a car that is so docile around town. The only areas requiring some attention are front brakes and exhaust. The front brakes are perfectly ok for normal driving, but for track use I’ll probably change the callipers and discs. The exhaust is ok, but a previous owner has done something with it to make it more noisy...sounds great but at 110db it fails most race circuit noise tests. There isn’t much about this car I don’t like. If I were to be picky maybe the interior is a bit bland, but it is a BMW, and after 78,000 miles there are no squeaks or rattles.

Best all around car, ever.

This car is incredible. It has exceeded my expectations and they were high to begin with. I love that it is a split personality car with extremes in comfort and high performance.

10 years old but still fun and reliable

This car keeps the need to buy a new one at bay. It’s reliable, fun to drive, still good looking and surprisingly, cheap to maintain. It may not have all the bells and whistles of modem BMWs but still has the most important feature of sport car: fun to drive. Power, grip, acceleration, sense of control, brakes like claws on the wheels.., yes, I can live without active cruise control or 20 cameras, but please don’t touch this engine! I may get another BMW but this one stays at home no matter what. My son is waiting for it too!

Its acceleration is awesome with a lot of pleasure

This car is visually appealing. I love its exterior style. What?s more, you can have driving pleasure when you drive it. One thing that need to be noticed is its expensive maintenance and repair fee.

No lie " the ultimate driving machine "

It's been the best vehicle that I've ever owned! Maintaining it is expensive but that's pretty well known across BMW's. Other than that though? If you want it to it can have a real "driver's car" feel to it but can also be gentle just the same. What a machine:)

Sedan is the best looking of the E9X group

High revving V8 with 8 individual Throttle bodies coupled to a manual transmission makes the E90 M3 worth owning. Add an exhaust system and you would swear it sounds like a Ferrari!!

Pure Joy

I owned my M3 for 7 years. 7 years of pure joy. Maintained and serviced the car following BMW's service schedule. Only ever replaced an o2 sensor. The car looks, drives and sounds like an incredible machine. Somewhat regretful to be upgrading to a newer model.
