The E92 BMW M3 competition introduced in 2011 is a

The E92 BMW M3 competition introduced in 2011 is a magical sweet spot in sports cars and the M lineup in particular. THREE circles overlap. ONE. The S65 engine is bespoke, only introduced in the 2008-2013 model. The normally aspirated 4.0L V8 weighs less than the inline 6 it replaces from the E46 and revs to 8300 rpm with 100 more hp. Literally the international engine of the year during every year of its production. Importantly it has no turbos. 8 separate throttle bodies, and a lightweight fly wheel. It will teach you what throttle response really means and overlaps with.. TWO. In the ZCP competition variant of the E92 this mates with a Getrag dual clutch. A manual lover, this made me switch religion. Odd/even transmissions and millisecond shifts with no gap in power pair perfectly with the race revving v8. And THREE.. sublime MDM traction control. All newer M models with turbo engines and comparatively sluggish throttle response include this. This is the final overlap. Instant throttle plus instant transmission plus instant handling equals the car dancing in and out of its performance envelope like a trained show dog. Buy one and good luck. I have several Ms. Not selling this one. Oh.. Minuses: Eats expensive tires like popcorn, sell your clutch foot to pay for brake platters. Head gaskets ooze around the 100k range. Worth it.

The M button transforms this car!

Feels like a true sports car in the 6 speed manual. Handles excellent. No turbos! Just pure and simple Bmw V8 muscle. E92 has a reason to have fans.

BMW M3 at Selden

Car has superior power, handling, and styling. It was difficult finding a v8 with a manual transmission in the colors I wanted. I finally found it at Selden after searching the web for awhile.

Big bang for your buck. Sporty and fun

Its both sporty and fast but still a doable daily driver. It offers a comfy seat and ride with stiff sporty handling and quick get up and go.

The most thrilling vehicle I will ever drive!

The sound of this engine will make your legs weak. Your heart will skip beats when you have the roof down listening to the sound. Just an amazing vehicle! No disappointments!

Great car, gets plenty of attention with V8 sound

This car was exactly what I expected in performance, styling, handling and comfort. Hard top convertible is a great summer driving car. Strong V8 engine, with great driving sound.

Great Euro-Performance Car

I have owned this car for over 4 years and it has been a pleasure driving her each and every time. I have invested a lot into her cosmetic and performance. The best car I have ever owned. I always have people show their appreciation for her Look and Sound. She is track ready but has never been tracked. V-8 Power and Performance. Low Profile for an even sportier look and style. Silverstone Metallic II color with Black Wheels and Carbon Fiber Accents. Just a georgous car!!

Awesome performance, beautiful interior!

This is the last of the naturally aspirated M3, with a 4.0L V8. With the appropriate exhaust the downshifts are amazing. I owned the DCT version with competition package and coupled with the suspension modes and launch control this is a fun package. The car does not have too much torque so is not tail happy, but balanced around the corners.

Best Sounding Engine Ever!

I owned a 2009 bmw 335i coupe, and upgraded to the 2011 m3 coupe. Car is glued to the road, it is one handling machine. My favorite thing about the car is the engine, it screams all the way to 8400 rpm. Lacks low end torque, but a couple downshifts and you're ready to go!
