The suspension is rigid the car bobbles side to side

The suspension is rigid the car bobbles side to side pretty bad. The brakes bump when stopping. But it is really fast. The front end toggles side to side from about 50 to 70 mph.

Glad I spent the extra dollars!

This vehicle has has taken my wife and me cross-country, as well as several other long distance trips, with a sum total of only one flat tire and no other mechanical, nor electrical issues at all! Any repairs have been moderate and frankly expected given the high number of miles (150,000 so far) on it. I expect to keep it for another year and a half.

Its the most annoying car I've ever owned

The car is ok, but it has the most uncomfortable seats on the market. Not sure why BMW can't upgrade the seats and make them more adjustable. Not everyone who drives a BMW is a 6ft guy but they build the seats and driving position as if they are.

Husband’s Dream

Husband has wanted a BMW since the 1980’s. Other priorities in life happened, so there you go. Fast forward to August 2020. Time to trade in the tired 2012 Ford Escape. Dealership has a 2014 BMW X3 25i in blue water metallic. Sold! Comfortable, QUICK!, with navigation, parking sensors/backup camera, heated steering wheel, etc. This is a gas sipper considering it takes premium fuel. Not a fan of the brake dust that turns the beautiful front wheels black, but we just keep up with cleaning them. So far so good. Seems to be reliable so far despite the reviews on the exorbitant maintenance costs German cars incur “when they get older”. This will be driven by retired husband about 2-3 times a week, so hopefully it will treat us well on maintenance costs. Bought a one owner, 72,000 miles, regular maintenance performed BMW, and to be honest, it’s not just husband that loves it!😀 Documented)

It's a Lemon

Bought this car a month ago and it now requires multiple repairs amounting to 1/3 of the purchase price. I do not think this car is worth the cost.

Most Versatile Vehicle and So Much Fun!

This SUV is excellent for a daily driver, road trips and Costco shopping trips! Plenty of space for 4 adults comfortably and all of their luggage. Sorry can beat most of the line in sport mode or save money on gas in eco mode. Extremely comfortable, tons of options for comfort and convenience. Not to mention it's a beautiful and reliable BMW!

On my 2nd X3, this one isn’t any better!

My first X3 was a CPO vehicle and 2 years old when I got it. Within the first month I had it in for a major repair, don’t remember what it was. After owning it for 3 years (it was then 5 years old), my waranty had run out and the transmission was falling apart and the dealership wanted $6,000.00 to repair! Long story short, my husband haggled for almost a month with the GM of the dealership and I ended up in and brand new 2014 X3. I was determined to treat this car right so I wouldn’t end up with major issues. 2 1/2 years later....here we go against. I ended up purchasing an aftermarket warranty for BMW, $4900.00, and my car started breaking down...stupid things really. The lift gate broke twice and all sorts of other problems. My husband owned two 3 series sedans and finally gave up. He went down and traded in his 2011 335i in 2014 and purchased a VW cc. Will not be purchasing another BMW. Going with a Subaru!!!

Too expensive to maintain and drive after warranty

Back seat hard and uncomfortable. Small things went wrong. Maintenance waits long. After 4 years a must to get extended warranty and the thousands of dollars they want is way too much because parts and repairs are so expensive
