Get ready to be the "Talk of the Town"!

I have owned my 3.0i Z4 for almost two years now, it's simply fantastic. With its bold, exciting exterior design, you will be grabbin' attention everywhere you go with it. To this day, I still receive compliments from total strangers about it. My Z4 is an '03, and people think it's a brand new car! Not to mention, the resale value and depreciation rate for these vehicles are amazing. Overall, It's a win-win situation, high-end performance, good gas mileage, and a total "head-turner."

All it was cracked up to be.

There has not been one disappointment since purchasing this vehicle late in the summer. I will store it this weekend for the winter. Looking forward to spring already.

Great sports car... handles like a dream

I was looking for a sports car, but was not sure just what I wanted. I had a Vette a few years ago but wanted something different. Looked at Boxters but didn't like the exterior design. Drove a Z4 and HAD to have it. I always liked the British sports cars from the 60's. This reminds me of those. Small, light, agile, fast. I love driving it!! It's going to be a long winter here in the NE not driving it. Can't wait until spring!

Owner of 2 BMW's and a Hummer H2

When I got my first BMW X3, I thought that this car was the best vehicle that I've ever owned. I have owned over a hundred different vehicles to compare to, and this was it! I thought. Well, I decided to trade my Harley Roadking for a BMW Z4. Now I have two BMW's and both are fun, and each has its' own attributes. But the Z4 is "WOW!!" Runs and drives like no other car that I've owned. It has met all of my expectations and then some. Highly recommend everyone to at least test drive one. You'll buy one, once you drive it! You will love it! I thought that I'd miss the Harley! I didn't even look back.

drove car for 50k over 5 years

bought it CPO with 6k and 3 yrs of age. car had manual transmission. I liked the transmission alot. good punch from the 3.0 liter engine. very nimble. seats were okay but long road trips were tough. even after many years, people still found the car exterior attractive. reliability was good. cpo warranty covered convertible top issues. Repairs done on the car over the couple of years were a defective sensor in the trunk about the top and some motor replacement in the top. would likely have been costly but CPO covered it. stereo was pretty good, and better with aux in i installed. was overall happy with my purchase. with winters in new york, putting on smaller rims/snow tires made this driveable in good amount of snow albeit clearance was the most significant issue. summer tires/premium rims made this undriveable in snow.

Great Styling, Driving & Performance

The BMW Z4 has far exceeded my expectations for a sports car. Driving & performance are excellent and are much better than other sports cars that I drove in the same price range. In my opinion, BMW quality is excellent.

BMW stands the test of time

The vehicle I found on cars.com is a 2003. It still handles great and performs outstanding on the road. Its beauty never fades.

Look forward to your commute!

This review is for the Z4 3.0 with automatic. A manual transmission would be more fun, the the automatic makes commuting a breeze. Also, when you master the Steptronic, manual gear changes, you can hold gears through twisty sections of road and truly experience the best of both the clogged freeway and the open road. My mileage averages over 25; not bad for such a powerful car. Dump the run-flat tires. They are like having rocks for tires. I replaced mine with a high quality set of conventional Michelin's and an emergency inflater kit. That improves the ride significantly. It's still firm, but not tiresome unless you get on a section of road with repetitive bumps/seams that will get the car bobbing up and down. Over most surfaces it is fine. Being a BMW, this car is well crafted and built with top notch materials. You will not be disappointed in the quality, reliability, or durability. Mechanically, they are super. Drop the top and enjoy your ride - even if your stuck in traffic!
