2005 BMW Z4 consumer reviews

I have owned many sports cars over the years: Corvettes, S2000, Porsches of many types and vintages, but I have to say the first generation Z4 is my favorite. It's obviously not the fastest, may not be the best handling, but I feel is the most fun to drive, most solid feeling, smoothest of them all. It just feels solid and well put together and has been trouble free. Have owned the car for 5 years and have no unexpected issues or trouble with the car, drive year round in Wisconsin with Blizzaks and it drives as well in the snow as our Jeep Cherokee ( As long as its lees than 5 inches of snow ). I highly recommend the first generation Z4 (2003-2007) as long as you find one with strong service history for sport motoring enjoyment.

Fun and easy to drive. Very fast ,great handling and fun to drive. I would recommend the car for people looking for a fun in the sun convertible!

The car meet all my expectations and had plenty of power. Always wanted a BMW sports car that looked sharp. This has it all for a cruiser

It's a great nifty little roadster that you can push to the max on the street. Fun drive, relatively comfortable and a nice interior.

I have owned my 2005 2.5 L BMW Z4 for almost 4 years. These 4 years driving my ZED have given mor driving pleasure than the other 48 years I have driven cars combined. Though the media likes to get gushy about the Porsche Boxster and universally ranks it a much better car than the Z4, for pure true sports car/roadster bliss the Z4 leaves the Boxster way behind it in the dust. I have driven a 2005 Porsche Boxster, a S model no less, and it doesn't come close to my 2005 Z4 in terms of that ultimate driving experience many call "the feel of the road". I have recently read that a prestigeous newspaper in England has preducted the 2003 to 2008 Z4 models will obtain the ultimate award for a automobile, that is acheiving "CLASSIC CAR STATUS". Nevermind the Boxster S comparison, I test drove a 2005 Ferrari 458 Spyder ! My 2005 Z4 again won hands down in every category of evaluation with the lone exception being that which no one would expect the Z4 would win, of course I am talking about Acceleration and Speed. But how many public streets or for that matter even highways in deserts can you drive 225MPH without there being both both bodily injury and property damage. Anthony in LA.

Car was kept in garage ,run every week . I have own the car since 8000 milles now 10300 . You will not regret !!

The car that you want to drive for fun without having major problems. I have used it for 4 years enjoyed every time I drove and didnt have major problems runs perfect. Also the price is really good for a BMW.
