Looking good but that's all

It was just to low, hard to lift yourself out from the front seats, baby crawl over speed bumps, not a very good front suspension, Sold it to my Ex...

ATS has it all in a small sporty package

I've owned this car for 4 years now. It is my 1st Cadillac and I just love it! The ATS is reliable no matter what the weather. It's quick and powerful yet, great on gas mileage. It has all the features you could ever want: 2 wheel, or all wheel driving, heated seats, heated steering wheel, sunroof, programable garage door button, sync cell phone for hands free, push button start, remote start, can even start car from Google/Alexa. Has standard Apps on touchscreen for NAV, Weather, OnStar and Pandora (music). Love the sound quality from the Boise speakers. Despite all the features that I love; There are a couple of design flaws of the car: ATS has a sporty design, it is low rider. For sure it's a smooth ride, however it being so low you do feel all the bumps in the road and slowing down for railroad tracks is a must. I'm only 5'2 and have to step down to get into it. Anyone close to 6 foot tall will bump their knee or head getting into it. As for cabin room, it is tight quarters. This vehicle is not for the driver who likes to carry a lot of things in (their) car. The trunk is small and very little storage inside the cabin area. The front seat has standard small glove box, a small hidden compartment but still too small to really store & access everyday items like sunglasses, coins/change or cell phone. The biggest and most costly Con about the car is getting the headlamp(s) changed. You can't do it yourself, it's too tight of an area to get your hand in the light housing area. It's designed to where you have to take it to a mechanic and they will have to literally remove the front bumper to get access and getting this done is costly expense. Luckily the headlights don't burn out often, but it is a added expense to have in mind. Over all, it is the best vehicle I've owned and I have a wonderful experience driving my ATS and I will drive it until it can't go anymore, then I'll most likely get another!

Nothing but trouble

I bought a 2013 Cadillac ats luxury edition brand new. Loved it, very spunky and fun to drive. As soon as the warranty ran out I’ve had nothing but problems. Leaking rear axle seals twice (about 2.5 yrs apart), dead cue screen-total replacement, transmission seal leaking, low beam headlight, front and rear brakes (yes, that’s just regular maintenance). Problem is NOTHING can be fixed w/o going to dealer except rear brakes. So every visit is no less than $1000. I have friends/family that are mechanics but this car is too difficult to work on. Low beam headlight requires removal of bumper, etc. front brakes require some special tool to remove rotor. Every year thousands of dollars. Next car will be a fully loaded Toyota Camry.

WORST CAR I’ve ever owned!

This is by far the worst car I’ve ever owned. It’s had many problems from A/C to the “run flat tires” to needing a fuel pump at 50,000 miles. Ridiculous! On top of the issues it is very uncomfortable to drive/ride in, you feel every bump. It’s also low setting so getting in and out feels like a sports car. The worst mistake I’ve made in a car purchase ever!

Love my Cadillac ATS

I really love my Cadillac ATS and have owned and driven it for over6 years now. It is roomy enough for me and has been very very dependable. Has stood up to the test of time and has only needed routine maintenance ie oil change, battery replacement, tire change. I bought it used with low mileage and have put 50,000 miles on it w/o any trouble. I do not care for the temperature regulation inside the car, seems to be either blowing cold air or hot air, no in between. My boyfriend doesn’t care for trying to work on it and finds it complicated and frustrating and he can usually fix anything!

This car has been a problem since purchase.

I have been very disappointed with this car. I rides worst than a 1965 volkswagen. Always in the the shop. They have it more than i do. Not worth the price i paid for it.

Worst car Gm ever made was mine

I was so excited going into the third generation ATS performance vehicle. Unfortunately it wasn’t excited to meet me or the streets of NY . It broke down 20 something times and was in service for over 70 total days. If I stood in the invoices I would be a foot taller. I won the NYS lemon law without court. I should have listened my inner voice with the last CTS being a problematic car also. The saying goes this isn’t your father’s Cadillac. Correct. His was soooooo much better !
