The perfect car for me
I have a commute of about 36 miles, and I charge at work. I also have a 240V Charger at home. Absolutely the right car for me! I can get to work on a charge, and get home on a charge. During winter months I use less than half a gallon of gas each day, and I use almost no gas in the summer months. A used ELR is the way to go for comfort, efficiency, and no range anxiety. There are occasions that I have to travel great distances for work, not a problem! The gas engine winds up getting close to 40 MPG.

Most reliable, high tech and beautiful car
It is the most luxury eletric/hybird vehicle in the market today. The design, confort and technology are unparalell. There is no other car that combined these quality at a reasonable price.

Misunderstood and underappreciated!
The car is so well done. The performance is perfect for a daily driver. The interior materials and finish are as good, if not better, than any of its imported rivals. The exterior is stunning. An amazing used car value. Don't base your opinion on the car tests- if you can find one drive it for yourself.

An $80,000 car for $23,000 used with 42,000 miles.
Incredible! I intend to keep it forever. I promised it to my son after I croak. At age 76 it may not be that long.

Best buy for the money!!
The Cadillac ELR flopped off the showroom floors, but is a steal entering back into market on lease returns. More bang for the buck then any new car you can buy!! I have been driving this car non stop for 3 weeks . I'm averaging 105 and have seen 45 on gas and 80 combined on 9 gal. of gas. This car is the tihs....

Worth waiting for overlooked work of art.
Waiting for this car for over 5 years and finally found a reasonably priced used vehicle. Leased a Volt for 3 years that was an outstanding and 100% reliable car as a stop gap until an ELR was available within budget as they were initially overpriced. A PHEV that runs off our solar panels for energy. Volt got between an honest 220 to 360 mpg as a work commute car and expect higher with the ELR. Fantastic car. My only criticism are the initial overpricing, a 2+2 type small rear seat and a little more engine / road noise than I expected. The electronics can also be a little fussy to get used to, but fine once figured out. You have to be aware of the large coupe doors when parking. Paint, design, interior and driving experience are all world class, a nice upgrade from the outstanding Volt. Not a high performance car in the traditional sense, but mileage, energy consumption and design make it a work of art that far exceeds conventional vehicles. Easy and fun to drive, handles like a true touring car with adequate power and smooth and abundant torque even at high speeds. GM is exceptional at front wheel drive. Expect to own and drive this car until high speed plug in charging stations are more available for pure EV, but can then relegate it to in town all electric use only. I hope Cadillac brings it back or in a different format like a CTS or ATS type PHEV. Now get 42 miles on a full charge which we have not exceeded in town. Engine generator is seamless and acceptably quiet, and the regeneration paddles are addictive. They would be nice to be on a clutch system so variable paddle pressure could control smoother breaking. For now we get to drive a piece of art that is a joy to drive while getting fantastic mileage and cutting carbon to non impact levels by solar and electric. As the power / torque are adequate you might consider a 2016 ELR if you are into high performance type cars as the 2016 has large power upgrades, if you can find one.
