Cadillac XT5 is a Nice Ride

The 2018 Cadillac XT5 has the looks, luxury and performance that you expect from Cadillac. It is a comfortable ride, with good handling and height to hold your own with the ?Big Boys?! Still can?t understand why Cadillac didn?t use LED headlights. I installed aftermarket lights from Superbright LEDs, and the work great. Other than that, it?s a great vehicle.

Love the XT5 better than the SRX

I bought and drove an SRX for 7 years, and wanted to replace it with a new one, but they quit making them! I decided to give the XT5 a try...and I LOVED it! The XT5 feels lighter and easier to control. It has great "get up and go", although the Auto Shut-Off takes a bit of getting used to. I'm going to really enjoy this car.

Best Cadillac SUV Yet!

The new XT5 is not only beautifully appointed, it handles great and is wonderful to drive. It is luxurious as well as rugged enough to handle to city roads fill of potholes and bumps.

Very luxurious and stylish crossover.

We got a 2018 Cadillac XT5 because the kids outgrew the back of a VW Jetta. We wanted an SUV but most of them looked boxy and did not have the stylish look the XT5 has. The interior is very beautiful and they have done an excellent job of combining the texture and color of the leather and wood surfaces. The dashboard instrument cluster is customizable to reflect different types of information. The center console has an display that covers audio, climate control, and media. The pairing of the garage opener with the car console was very tricky. I resolved it by parking right below the garage door opener motor before it accepted the commands. The car is 2 tons, and even though the engine is 301 ponies, don?t expect quick responses. You have to drive it gently and plan ahead without making any sudden moves. The only complaint is that the cargo space does not have a retractable liner as standard equipment. I thought that was very cheap considering this car costs 40 grand The fuel economy is not good but it is to be expected. If you drive through town every day you will gas up at least twice a week All in all, Cadillac did a good job with this car.

It's a Cadillac

Excellent quality, ride, power and handling. Slight learning curve for old school driver as to CUE system. Clean design on hidden rear wiper, but would function better if mounted at bottom of rear window

Great car EXCEPT for one problem!

Cadillac's number 1 selling vehicle ( XT5) should be able to wireless charge the number 1 selling cell phone...the Apple iPhone 8 or 10, but it does not. It does charge in the 2018 Cadillac Escalade and Buick's Enclave. I strongly urge Cadillac's Engineering Department to issue a "patch" to correct this problem. Perhaps Apple could help.

Our second Cadillac

Beautiful and the new 2018 CUE system is vastly improved! We traded a 2015 Cadillac SUV for the new CUE system and gorgeous blue exterior! We live in Michigan and the Cadillac drives beautifully in snowy weather! Always wanted to own a Cadillac -our retirement car!

Very well built car

Very nice looking car. It is well built and has all the option that anyone would want. My experience at my dealer was off the charts. The customer service my sales team as well as manager was very good.
