Best car I have ever owned.

It drives great, rides great and has plenty of interior room to provide passengers with an exceptionally comfortable ride. The full panoramic sunroof is great to enjoy the sun during the day and the beautiful stars in the sky at night. Absolutely love this car!

Toyota to Cadillac not happy

Already replaced headlight $$$$. The touchscreen is going. I can’t use the GPS or turn the heat to the vents. When I dropped it off for the headlight I asked about the screen. And the service guy said yep it needs replace ~$1,600. The glove box never opens. I had a 2006 Toyota and Everything still worked when I sold it last spring.

XTS - a quiet, smooth luxury sedan alternative

I have the XTS Luxury in front wheel drive trim. The 3.6 liter engine is smooth, quiet and efficient. The transmission is appropriately geared for around town and efficient highway travel. I love the interior - the fit and finish as well as the quality of materials are excellent. Cadillac's CUE does require some patience and learning. The ride is quite supple and handling very good for this class of car. I have driven competitive models from Audi (A6), Infiniti (q50) and Volvo (s 80) - I found the XTS their match in acceleration, handling and build quality. The Audi A6 has a slightly better turn in but the XTS is quite comparable otherwise. The Q50's ride was quite similar, slightly more responsive on twisty roads but much smaller in the rear seat and trunk areas. Plus unlike any of the above, my XTS has Brembo brakes, GM's excellent magnetic ride control and air rear suspension. Oh, the XTS' 3.6 is a gem of an engine. Even my neighbor who owns a 2014 E350 commented on being pleasantly surprised by the XTS. Several of my son's friends who are in their late 20's, two of which are automotive engineers, were impressed and taken back by the XTS' build quality, ride and style.

Just excellent, needs a spare tire.

Wonderful car. Attractive inside and out. Wish it had a spare tire. Comfortable, safe, and feels like it could drive itself. Quiet motor and smooth ride. Back seats fold down. Nice large back seat. Bike fits back there

worst car I ever owned

cue system in all model Cadillacs the system freezes or screens crack. Cadillac will not repair if out of warranty. Sun roofs wont open. Class action law suit has been filed against Cadillac. Cost 1200.00 to 1800.00 to fix the problem with only 40k miles. Have had 7 cadillacs but will never buy another GM car. Lincoln here I come

I love this car

I have so many good memories with this car. Never had to fix it until I decided to change the suspension. I drove across country, not once failed me on the road.

Last of the land barges

This car is the last of the luxury over performance vehicles from Cadillac. That being said handling and performance are decent enough, but clearly lacking when compared to others in the same market segment. The main pros are a quiet cabin and ultra soft ride. Cons, down market interior appointments and a CUE system that can be downright frustrating at times. Overall a good proposition if you are looking for uncompromising space, a reasonable level of quality, and have an affinity for the Cadillac name plate.
