2005 Dodge Dakota consumer reviews

I bought my 2005 Dakota brand new. It now has 65,000 miles on it. I had not one problem with it. just regular maintance and that was it. I have the slt quad cab and it's very good. The gas milage is not the best on the V8 engine, but with such great pickup. The truck was definetly worth what i paid

I have owned 3 dodge trucks.Problems with brakes from day one.After four return trips to dealer still not fixed,finally told they would not work on any more but agreed there was a problem.Contacted factory rep.,he said dodge would do nothing and it would cost me more to sue than I could fix it myself.28000 miles now,cant afford another truck.Mileage is terrible 11 to 13 miles to gallon,no more.Interior is poor Quality.Dont make my mistake!

I've got the SLT fully loaded, trailer package, 4x4 chrome rims and black/chrome exteriors. Sharp looking and the V8 has guts. Tows my 18 foot camper like it's not there. No major problems at 35,000km. Replaced a seized caliper around 25,000km and back chrome bumper started rusting from day one. Cloth seats will stain from just rain so get covers for them. Stereo has good bass. You feel like one of the big boys in this compact. Competition looked too cheap and Toyota was too expensive.

For the size I couldn't find anything else that compared. I've had good luck with it. Already 55k miles and no problems. My first truck that isn't full size - and I've been pleased.

Nothing but problems, 50000kms(30000mile), I replaced every sway bar bushing at least once, swaybar links 2x's, door seal once, on a vehicle Ive owned for 17 months.
