2014 Dodge Grand Caravan consumer reviews

We are a family of six and one dog. This Van fits us perfectly. I have used Caravans in the past as work vans and can vouch for their longevity and toughness. Rides great and is versatile in a passenger or cargo configuration.

Fiat Chrysler (FCA) has a known problem with paint on the hood of Grand Caravans. But FCA and local dealer James do not respond to the case I opened.

I don't like the looks of Hondas or toyotas. I'm a mechanic and always fix my own vehicles. I learned early on how to diagnose issues. The Pentastar engine is awesome. They say the transmission's have issues. Mine doesn't yet. If it does I'll opt for an upgraded one.

We used the handicap ramp and the wheelchair drive into the van and lock into the passenger side quite often. We bought this car for that reason to begin with. Patient moved out of the country and we don't need a big car any longer. We have the seat that is installed again where the wheelchair used to drive in and lock. This seat can be taken out and be used w/ wheelchair again. Doors are automatic sliders that can be opened and closed w/ your car key. The car is in great condition.

We never had issues with the Grand Caravan the second one we've owned. Reliable, no major repairs (all maintainence), comfortable, reliable and serves many purposes. Best feature are the stow away seats to provide a full and flat cargo area.

This car is meeting all my needs. It drives well, as I drive in comfort. I like the interior design and the comfort passengers are able to drive in.

I had owned a Dodge Mini Van for seventeen years and had to finally buy a new vehicle. The Dodge Grand Caravan is perfect for my needs.

We have a large family and the need for the room for people and things is a huge driving force in why we will always have a van of some sort.

If I had it to do over again I would opt for an SUV and not a minivan, the room is nice but am having a hard time getting use to the size going from a VW GOLF to the van.
