So far so good

I just purchased this vehicle and have gone on a couple of mini trips and it has been wonderful. It has a lot room. I have just a basic radio and no back up camera which I thought was odd for a 2014 but I don't need bells and whistles.

Great for our family!

The Dodge Grand Caravan R/T is perfect for our family. It is so easy to get the kids in and out. I don't have to worry about slamming doors since they are automatic! I also do not have to worry about the kids hitting other cars with the doors. Lots of storage and space!

Good mini van for the money

The 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan is great vehicle overall. What keeps it from being outstanding are some of features that are not available together or in a "package". It would be nice to have UConnect and power sliding doors with a power lift gate all togetherbut it is very hard to get the two together (in a program vehicle). One would think that at the very least in a family type vehicle it would have hands free calling or Bluetooth standard. As far as comfort, performance, styling, and value it is a winner!

hauled more things than I ever did with a pickup

Love the vehicle! Take three adult couples out to eat. The next day go buy a high capacity washer and dryer lay the seats down and haul it home.

Many great features and value for the money.

Had a great experience buying a mini-van on my first visit and test drive. Salesman was a pleasure to work with. Very patient, informative, and answered my questions. The whole process was smooth, simple, and completed in a timely fashion w/o any delay.

Great van

I bought this van new here in Deland Florida. I use the van to travel from Florid to New York with every summer with my 2 dogs every year. I had this van about 2 years now and I have never had any problems with it.

Good but cheaply put together

Our 2014 Dodge Caravan R/T is a very good value, rides good, is fast, and agile for a mini-van. However, with 38k miles a leather armrest is cracking, a sliding door lock actuator has broken, which costs $550 to fix, and various small pieces of trim come loose. I was a bit disappointed to say the least when the automatic sliding door lock failed. Then the Dodge dealers can't agree whether the whole latch assembly or actuator can be replaced separately. I think this will be my last Dodge Caravan and will opt for something of higher quality.

Not the most reliable car I've owned

Good handling and good fuel consumption. But, wind noise is bad, very dusty in interior when on gravel or dirt roads. Car fills up with dust. Dealer so far unable to correct problem. I feel the poor design of the vent at the back of the car is to blame. Would not purchase this car again for that reason. Seat belts in back get dirty, all interior dirty etc. If you are not on a dirt road there would not be much of a problem. Good power for size of vehicle. Ride ok and when not windy average road noise.

Do not waste your time or money

The reliability on this car is zero. If you look up some of the complaints they all deal with Transmission, Brakes, or electrical issues. Cheap car, but the accessories are cheap also and is very expensive to repair. The warranty is not that great with lots of loopholes.
