Very Happy Owner
I was looking to downsize from my Mommy Van to a crossover SUV. I did a lot of research and test drove a lot of cars before deciding on the purchase of my Dodge Journey. It's a comfortable drive with plenty of zip for the amount of city driving I do. Infact it took me a few days to get used to it's ease of speed. The gas milage is great! Nice change from my old mini van gas guzzler. The best feature to me though is the massive storage in the back that converts into the two extra seats! I was able to downsize the mini van without losing the extra seating. And the seats are comfortable too!! I love this car!!

Expecting Mother.
I have only had this vehicle for a short amount of time but I do enjoy it so far. The exterior look of the vehicle is very astatically pleasing. It feels like a SUV but seats like a Mini Van. I wouldn't recommend the 3rd seating area for anyone above 5'9 just for comfort reasons. I enjoy all the technology they installed into the Journey but I feel like they were slacking on the design when it comes to the interior. I have the SXT version and as much as I love the touch screen I feel it could have been larger. If you have children I would recommend getting the booster seats.

First New Vehicle
I have had my 2014 Journey for a little over a month. Its my very first new car and I love it. The interior is roomy and is very nice, feels luxurious. Love all the space it has, compartments to store things and 3rd row that is only used when needed. The exterior look resembles a bit to a minivan, I'm not to hyped about that but the interior makes up for it. We got the 4 cyl so its power isnt much but it does drive very smoothly. What I'm not too happy about is the fuel economy, its averaging 20 miles to the gal, which I thought would be much better than that, but then again I have really checked that once. I did however had an icident with this vehicle already. While shopping one day I turned it off like always, when I get back in to turn it on, the brake pedal was jammed. It was pushed all the way to the back, there was no pushing it in and I could not start my car. After trying several times I called roadside. Meantime which its 30-45 mins later my husband arrives and he starts the car like nothing. I dont know if it was something I did wrong or if it was the vehicle already having issues. But the roadside guy said that this is a common problem among these cars, he used to own one and he gets called out on these cars as well. We took it to the dealer and they found nothing. I'll let you know if something comes up again.

Good, Not Great
Comfort is OK. Smooth ride; pickup of speed is a little hesitant. Exterior design is beautiful. Interior design is a bit skimped on. The visors are a bit small and provide a little protection from the sun while driving. The dividing accessory box in the middle of the driver and passenger is too, too compact; just too small. The third row of seats are better left down because the head sets inhibit the rear view.

The best option for your money
Real 7 passenger seating, all the gadgets, superb pentastar V6 286hp and the best brakes ever (compared with other chrysler/dodge/jeep cars I've owned). Yes, maybe not the best design SUV in the market. Reliable, sporty and budget.

Dodge Journey review
Handleing is very good, inside controls are easy to use. The 4 cylinder has some fairly good pickup for a 2.4, but dont expect a Hemi. The color & coating are very beautiful. It is comfortable but seems a little stiff.
