So Disappointed!!

I purchased the 2017 Spider 124 Abarth, automatic in March 2017. This is my full time vehicle. I started having issues in Feb 2018, at about 15k miles. I was driving on the freeway, when I lost power to the vehicle for a split second. All the lights on the dashboard lit up like Christmas. I was about 2 hours from home and continued with no issues. My check engine light was on and it was brought into the dealer. They kept it for about 4 days and said it was a software issue. I decided to take my car for an oil change near my home. Service has always been at the dealer, but they are slow! The repair shop told me to get my car to the dealer and showed me green, dried coolant on the pan. I only have 20k miles!! Dealer stated I needed a new water pump. Well that wasn?t the only issues. They needed to replace the seals or plugs because the coolant was still leaking after they replaced the pump. Well they did all that but one of the plugs would not fit. So as I?m writing this, I?m getting a new engine. Wow! My car has been in the shop for 2 weeks now and I?m not sure when I?m getting it back and not sure that I want it! So sad because I was having a blast driving it, but clearly buying a first year rebirth was not a good idea. Hope you have better luck!

Fun, Beautiful car for the money!

I love this car! It has been years since I have found a car where the style and price met my expectations. Fiat has created a beautiful, fun car at the right price point.

Best Maneuverability

Great car, handles well, easy convertible top, great on freeways and good pickup. I love the turning radius, easy maneuverability. I recommend to anyone wanting to have fun and reliability at the same time.

First time of owning a fun sports car. I like the

It fits me like a glove, turns on a dime with change back! I wasn?t intimidated by the size of it. It?s all I need for just me. After I lost my husband. I like the shape and quite it has in the interior, not much road noise. I was pleasantly surprised

Most fun car I have ever driven. The handling!!

Never driven a more fun car. The Abarth Spider is glued to the pavement and gives you more confidence in corners than you'd ever expect from a road legal vehicle, not to mention the affordable price tag. From 20-70 mph it is in its sweet spot, so perfect for public road fun without eating thrown in jail. Another cool perk is the fact that most people have no idea what it is, especially with abarth badges, looks like it could be a $70k sports car to the average driver.

Disappointed !!!

Parts over costly !!! I had a small 10 mph bump and caused my airbag to partially deploy ! 19,000.00 later I get my car back after 4 months of repairs ! Half due to parts not being available for the car and has very expensive parts !!!

Sooo glad I didn't buy another Miata

Let me start off and admit, this car is NOT for everybody. If you're too fat or too tall, get a Mustang. I was tempted to buy a Miata (Mx5) because I had one in the past. I liked the new styling and the reported (and generally agreed upon) reliability. However, once I saw and drove the new Fiat Spider, I had a new awakening. I was "taken" and couldn't get the car out of my mind. I really WASN'T in the market for a new car. But, the styling, the "feel" and thrust from the turbo were intoxicating. I searched until I found one with the equipment and in the price range I wanted. Fast forward, 2,000+ miles later and I'm still grinning ear to ear with my Classica. Most fun I've ever had (in a sports car). The previous concerns about Fiat's reliability are non-existent. What can you expect from a perfect pairing of Japanese reliability and Italian engineering? Nothing short of perfection.

Must fun I have had in awhile

I have owned approx 65 cars. Mercedes, Porsche, bmw, corvette, viper.this car may not be crazy fast, but the fun factor is an 11. Love the Italian looks. You are directly connected to this car. I have the manual, which IMO, is the only way to go.the only car I would put above this is my 1985 Porsche Carrera I once owned. I wish I could afford one now. If you looking for a real, rare, reasonable sports car, this is it.
