New Acadia Owner

We needed a vehicle with a third row seat. Something reliable and decent gas mileage. We really like the Acadia. Its solid and sharp looking. We got the base model SL but it has a lot of nice features at that level. The onstar is awesome. Very roomy vehicle and the third row is legitimate. I recommend to anyone looking for a non mini van.

2008/2012 Acadia Been bit 2X

Bought a 2008 Acadia New. Had it 4 yrs, 75000 miles when I got rid of it. Roughly 35000 when xxxxxxstarted.. Had great revues in 2008 when it was new. Had to replace transmission 2x. Powersteering unit 1x. Complete Navigation 1x and FRT bushings 2x which caused tires to wear n even. Had great service from dealer. Like a dummy I bought a 2012 Acadia, Same package thru out. SLT models both. Figured problems and bugs fixed At 3xxx ABS system went out. Bad bearing in rear wheel let water in $1000.00 fix but under warrenty. Had fixed, at 11000miles suspension making noise. Now driving 2013 Toyota Highlander Limited

Up date of last car

I replaced a 2007 Acadia Slt-2 it was one of the first ones made. I had a few problems but I liked the way it looked , handled and I thought the gas mileage was was pretty good for a car that large. I have only had my knew one for a few days and everything seems to be improved and up dated so far i'm really impressed.

GMC's worst yet

I have been a loyal GMC customer for the past 20 yeras and went from my Jimmy which I traded in for a 2004 Envoy to another traded. A 2012 Acadia Denali. So I thought well as much as I like my Envoy this will be a car I am going to love even more and went all out to buy a Denali. The car was advertised at $ 42 K and after all the warranties and install features it ended up being $ 57 K. The car has been a horrible disappointment and the GMC dealer service much worse than expected . It vibrates and wobbles all over the road and I had it in 4 times now just to get is balanced. Still the same, each time waited 4-5 hrs in the lounge and you have to pay for a soft drink. ..The car is cheaply made and feels low class. does not handle well and has no get up and go at all. I will never buy another GMC after this experience again. What a disgrace to the American car manufacturing community. I will buy foreign from now on. Their service is 100 times better juts from what I hear from my friends. Don't waste your money on this!!! Should have let them go bankrupt they do not deserve the money they got for sure. Quality went way down.

Best All Around Vehicle

I have never owned or even ridden in a vehicle that I like better than my 2012 Acadia. The ride is smooth, the functionality is astounding, and usability is unsurpassed. It is quick to warm in Alaska's chilly weather and very dependable on icy roads. I trust this vehicle to be safe for my family and yet it's still sporty enough to get up and go. I HIGHLY recommend this vehicle!

Love this car

Bought brand new, 1300 miles later (mostly highway/interstate) I love this car! Believe it or not, but was going back and forth between this and a Cadillac SRX, but chose the Acadia as we have 3 teenage boys and are on the road a lot doing traveling ball and found the middle row seats leg room blew the Cads away. Even the 3rd row seats are decent, adjusting the middle row little. Gas mileage is awesome for this size vehicle, got 24mpg doing about 72-77 for 400 miles. I've noticed the in town driving really sucks this down, got 18mpg last tank doing a mix of in town/hwy. Old vehicle was an 07 Suburban, so enjoying the extra mpg but we have even better passenger room. Ride/driving is awesome, love the bluetooth integration with my Win7 phone, works perfectly, even reading/allowing me to respond verbally to text messages.

Just Something About Domestic

I had Previously owned a 2005 Yukon and to my many regets traded for a Sorento in October. I purchased an Acadia SLT in early April and traded in the Sorento. The Acadia is tops for the cost and I gives the feel of a larger vehicle. The interior is roomy and comfortable in the rear. Before purchasing the Acadia all I heard from my kids was ShotGun and I'm in front. Now its a chore to get one to sit in the front! GMC has done it again!
