Good Solid Family Vehicle

The 2013 Acadia is the perfect size from my family (and giant dog) for longer road trips. We have the rear seat entertainment system, which is a Godsend for the kids. Smooth ride, gets the job done and I like the look compared to many SUVs. Captains chairs give it was more space flexibility as well.

Beautiful SUV with all the bells & whistles!

We traded in our fully loaded 2011 Chrysler Town and Country Touring-L, in search of an SUV for our growing family. We needed a third-row SUV with low miles, a usable trunk, adequate leg room, decent features, a clean carfax, and an affordable payment. We found the 2013 GMC Acadia, and it fit like a glove!

2nd Acadia owned

Great styling and great performance. Drove it back from purchasing from out of state and got better fuel economy than our 2009 Acadia. This is the SLT package and the features from a SLE are nice but I would be ok with either. So far so good with a used purchase and looking forward to many years of service and use.

Awesome car

This car test drive well. It was really comfortable and had a ton of space I the 3rd row. I was surprised at how smooth the car drove. This car definitely had plenty of power and sites not leave anything to be desired. This SUV is perfect for a young growing family. The captain seat in the second row was pretty impressive and convenient.

Love this car!

Can't say enough good things about this car! We love it so much, especially the Denali style. Just wish the USB had better placement!

High quality, comfortable ride

Excellent car for a small family. Engine power a little anemic and little storage room on interior, but luxury features make up the difference. Very quiet ride, great handling and safe.

Slowest car to 60 mph

The 2013 GMC Acadia AWD is slow. Its transmission is reluctant to shift, and it doesn't have a rev limiter to help it shift gears. Its headrests in side are awful, the front one give you neck pain, and the back are fixed in one spot, and the seats give you back and neck pain. Plus they are too low to the floor so your knees will be uncomfortable. The ride is also too bouncy. It seems like it won't stop bouncing for a while. The 3rd row seating is for babies at best, as there is very little leg room. Head room is okay for all three rows. The ground clearance is excellent for light off-roading, but for no more than gravel or grass roads. The headlights don't like to stay in their spot, as my right headlight keeps coming loose, as it's already warped. The engine is underpowered to. 288 horsepower and 270 ft-lbs of torque are not enough for a 2.5 ton SUV. This SUV needs a V8 or a boat load more power to get it anywhere quickly. I used to own a 2006 Honda odyssey. Even though it was front wheel drive, we took it on gravel roads with ruts, large rocks, etc., and it was fine. It had more power to go up, but less braking power. The GMC has good brakes I must say, and it stops well. The Honda, at 30 mph, on new factory brakes, stopped on a dime a few times. This thing couldn't do it at all with new brakes. The infotainment system is slow to respond to any selection, and Bluetooth is hard to access and use. And why is there a picture view 'app' in this thing? It doesn't do anything!

Great Family SUV!

I have owned two GMC Acadia, getting ready to buy my third. It is just a great car. It drives like a car with the room and reliability of an SUV. It has good space inside the car, we have three kids in sports and a dog and taken many road trips in the Acadia with all of our luggage and surf boards.
