The good, the bad and the ugly...

At first glace the outside is less rounded when compared to the Chevy line. The GMC Acadia has the more powerful but less fuel efficient V6 power plant. If you are planning on towing or live in a region with many hills with significant grades go with the V6. The interior was open and inviting. The seats were comfortable and driver controls were in logical friendly reach. Some additions I would like to see on any 4x4 would be rescue hooks for assisting others or easy access for someone to drag you out of a jam. The ability to easily add a brake controller for towing would be a plus. Darker tinted front driver and passenger side glass ??? Since this is a newer vehicle I do not anticipate mechanical or failure to run issues. Reliability then must be excellent. I hope this may help some. At least give some minor points to look at before purchase. Enjoy :D

Safest SUV I?ve ever driven.

Very quick and nimble for a seven seat SUV. My Apple phone worked seamlessly with the entertainment system.

New 2017 Acadia

Was pleasantly surprised when I test drove this. Has excellent power for the size. I have the 3.6L V6, All Terrain model. Ride and comfort are excellent, great alternative to the need more size without spending $60000 on a Tahoe. Lots of toys, yet easy to operate.

Car is ok

The new GMC Acadia is much smaller than my old one and I have to say I do not like that. Should have driven more before I bought it. Will know better next time I trade. Otherwise the SUV is very good.

Very Comforable SUV I have been in

This vehicle is very comfortable and stylish. This vehicle came with most of the bells and whistles without the extreme price. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

It's a very eye appealing and a sporty suv.

The car is really too new for me to rate, but at this time it seems to be everything it was sold to do. My first GMC vehicle, although I've owned many General Motor Products and has been a pleasurable experience

VERY nice ride.....

Smooth ride, more than enough power, comfortable for longer trips, SLT has about the right amount and level of options... would love a Denali but more $$$ than I want to pay and some of the Denali-level options would be never used (trailering) or downright irritating (lane monitor).... I would have preferred the cocoa/tan interior with 2nd row captains chairs for ease of use, but that would be my only minor complaint. Very glad to have found my Acadia SLT at a price and mileage which were agreeable... all in all, an excellent vehicle for our needs and I would abso purchase another...

Love my new 2017 Acadia All Terrain

I really have no complaints about this truck. the WOW factor for me in it was the power of the engine and the smoothness of the trani. I test drove some others before coming to this one and none gave me that WOW. The styling is impressive but could have been a little taller in its stance. the version I chose was the All Terrain 1 AWD. I put close to 345 km on the vehicle per day and did not want to forgo reliability. The vehicle is great in snow and ice conditions as well with the AWD and All Terrain drive. I only have two issues that I can live with but would be nice if GMC fixed. please put a steering damper on the truck since under heavy power in two wheel drive you will get very heavy torque steer. Also please do something about the headlamps. They could be alot brighter, maybe some HID Xenons? As for price, here in Canada the cost of this package runs about 60000 Canadian.
