A pleasant crossover.

I rented an SLT V6 AWD for a 10 hr each way highway trip. It was extremely comfortable and I was not at all sore when I got to my destination (I only stopped for quick gas fill-ups). I definitely would have appreciated adaptive cruise control and steering assist and was surprised a vehicle of this price range didn't have it, as they are standard on pretty much all of the Acadia's Asian competitors. It has a nice driving position, with plenty of room and good visibility. I really like the shape of the Acadia, which is more of a practical raised wagon rather than a stylish swoopy crossover. I find the 2020 model to be much better looking. I personally have found all late model GM cars I've driven to have very complicated controls, however that is of course something you would get used to after owning it for a bit. The cargo area is flat and relatively large. I find a lot of power hatches are cumbersome and frustrating, but this one was simple and very helpful. The engine is smooth, and I was very impressed with my MPG for the trip, which was 28 for highway driving of 70-75 mph. Personally I very much prefer the Toyota Highlander over the Acadia, but it was a pleasant vehicle for my trip.

I love this car

I previously owned a 2002 GMC Envoy XL. I loved that car and drove it for 11 years. In 2015 I purchased a Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ. We own a boat and it pulled it nicely. I never, ever liked the Tahoe. It drove like a truck, bulky to drive around town and third row seat was terrible. I told my husband I’m done driving this monstrosity around. So, the search began for a smaller SUV. I test drove around 15 SUV’s including Lexus RX350, Mercedes GlC 300, Acura MDX and RDX, Buick Enclave, Toyota Highlander, Lincoln Nautilus, Cadillac XT5, Subaru Ascent, Volkswagen Atlas, and many many more. The point is I did my homework. My husband told me to get whatever car I wanted. We were leaning towards the RX350 but waiting for 2020. I wanted Apple Car Play and Lexus was not offering in 2019. I searched for 3 months not loving anything until I stumbled upon an Ad for an Acadia. I realized they cut down the length in 2017 and thought well why not go take a look. I fell in love with it. The length is perfect, the drive is so smooth and so easy to drive around town. We opted for The Denali and I couldn’t be happier. The infotainment system is similar to my Tahoe. So intuitive and easy. My only negative would be the lack of inside storage and strange cup holders compared to The Tahoe. I easily will give that up for the Acadia. Third row seat is awesome and usable with my 2nd row captain chairs. Hope this helps those of you considering this vehicle!

It's a great suv, very happy to own it.

To drive it is wonderful. I'm truly loving the three row seats, so is my young grandchildren. It's comfortable, very reliable and all around, just a joy to drive. It feels like a dream that came true.

Car was comfortable and had all the feautures.

Loved the comfort, the drive, the room, the features, and look forward to owning the Acadia for many years to come. Took it on a drive to southern MN and got better gas mileage than expected.

Acadia Denali AWD

The 2019 has way more features than my 2008 Acadia. Car is technologically smarter than me . Once I learn to take advantage of all of them the car will practically drive itself.( not really but close). Only thing missing is a light in the glove compartment. It may be there but I may just have to learn how to use it!

Practical and Luxurious

This is one luxurious, yet practical, SUV. I love the size and the comfort of it, and it handles beautifully. It has plenty of room, including the 3rd row, while not being too big to park easily. The seats are very comfortable, the interior is beautiful, and the sound system is awesome. I plan to drive this for years to come.

Just the right size

It is bigger than what we had before but not too big. Smooth ride. Good highway travel. Just right for the four of us to vacation in.
