A very good car

This car has the feel of a more expensive vehicle than the MSRP price. The base features are more than most people would need, the interior is as well designed as any car I have owned. Due to the noise cancelling feature and the noise insulation, it is extremely quite. The electric power steering has good road feel. GMC has done a very nice engineering job with this model. Very tastefully done.

Bad mileage

I bought a SLT2 with the 4 banger. Have 3,000 miles on it. Highway mileage is less than 24 when they say 32. I got the GMC consumer service involved, they played games for two weeks. Then this week they called and said the car was working properly so they could do nothing. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Good features and good gas mileage

I purchased this car SUV because I was about to take a new job that required a good amount of driving and also would require transporting some material. I really have enjoyed this purchase. For me, I love the Onstar, bluetooth and Xm Radio/iPod interior functions. I do not know if I will ever buy another car that does not have built in Bluetooth from now on. When you spend as much time in a car as I do, these little features make it alot more enjoyable. It gets very good gas mileage for what I need. I would prefer a bit more pickup and interior cargo room, but you sacrifice gas mileage by doing so. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

I'm Lovin' it!

This car is excellent I was a little worried about the v6 gas millage, but after I began using plus gasoline in the car the mileagllage shot up. I've gone from 18.1 mpg to 21.6. The adjustable liftgate is so wonderful, being 5'0 i really don't need a one size fits all liftgate. The rearview camera is a life saver. All in all I love this truck I love the weather feature on the navi screen. You are able to view a 5-day weather forcast for your location, and your destination. There are so many features on this car that you really must just go to a dealership and explore them for yourself. You'll love it.

Feels Like A Safe and Reliable Vehicle

My wife and I recently purchased a 2010 Terrain. Although I was not crazy about the exterior styling, she loved it. What I like so far, is the excellent gas milage. I have noticed that driving 55 mph on fairly level terrain, I can exceed 40 mpg. We bought the 4cyl. model, because "power" is not as important as mpg to me. My wife likes the fact that the rear seat slides forward, allowing her to easily reach our grand daughter who rides in the back seat. The sound system is awsome, but takes a while to figure out. We love the remote starter and the remote lifting rear hatch. Head room and leg room is great for us taller men. We also appreciate the peace of mind the OnStar gives us. We can take or leave the XM satellite. I can tell by the looks on peoples faces as we pass them, they either love the look of this vehicle, or they hate it. When you close the doors, you can tell it is solidly built. So far, I believe it is a "keeper". If I were to change one thing, I would add more padding to the seats, because they feel a little stiff. I would highly recommend that you take a Terrain for a test drive before you purchase a cross-over. I don't think you will be disappointed by the quality or performance of this vehicle.

First GMC product that ever owned

I have had the Terrain about Three weeks and love the car. The exterior styling is great and the interior about the same although I had trouble tryint to figure out on how to work all the instruments. Gas milage seems good but Three weeks is not enough time to evaluate this area. I have had one minor problem with humming noise or a vibration noise. Some far GM has not resolved the problem but the dealer is going to try some exaust adjustments to see if the problem. Price for this type car is around average on what I was shopping for.

Sporty SUV

The interior is very comfortable and very quiet. The 4 cyclinder engine provides adequate accerleration and the handling of the vehicle is above average. The exterior is sharp and provides a truck look to the vehicle. The only interior choices that are not available is power passenger front seat and a universal remote for the garage.

Incredible Vehicle - 5 in every aspect

I saw the review above about how it stalled without even 2000 miles on it, it sounds that you just got a dud in the group. The day this vehicle came out I purchased it. I purchased the SLT-2 model and I absolutely love every aspect of this vehicle. The pioneer sound system is incredible, the vehicle is very smooth and has a lot of power. I have the V6 and it does consume a lot of fuel, but I bought this vehicle for vacations not for commuting and basic driving. The only two problems I have found with the vehicle is that for some reason the roof control panel the buttons to turn on the interior lights do not light up... the only time I see the need to turn on the interior lights is when it's dark.. so not seeing the buttons to turn on my night lights makes no sense. But no biggy, you just learn where they're at. Then the second issue is the head unit with iPod mounting. The system will work fine with any older iPod, but the iPod touch GEN2 (which I have) will require you to open and exit the audio search two time in order to see the albums correctly. If I do not do this, it displays random titles for the albums or artists. I am working with GM on this to see about getting it resolved. Outside of those two strange issues, the vehicle is a great buy and I recommend it. It is so comfortable, so smooth, and incredibly stylish.

top 10 crossovers

Good Fuel Effiecency. Solid V4 and V6. It doesn't have many features and should have al ot more speed. On the plus side it has a backup camera and has come at the right time.
