Honda Accord

It's very economical and comfortable. It's clearance and speed is good. The brakes and gas pedals are located in a good way to the driver. It's front and back seat is very comfortable compared to other cars.

Honda that ran forever

My first car was 2000 Honda Accord. It was fast. The interior was all leather, radio was extremely loud. The car did have a few issues being so old but that never stopped it from starting. By the time I sold the car it had 260,000 miles on and the owner still drives it to this day!

Most car reliable

Bought this 2000 used with 54,000 miles on it in 2004. Now have 200,500 mile on the car. Replaced alternator at 100,000 and alternator bracket at 150,000. That is all!! Runs like a swiss watch. Nothing breaks in this car. Struts still original. Did one set of brakes, some tires and regular maintenance. Do your timing belt every 100,000 and flush auto transmission fluid every 50,000. I have owned toyotas and nissians, I would put honda 1st, toyota 2nd and nissian 3rd. Used to buy American but gave up!! This honda has been the most reliable car I have owned. My interior still looks new, including leather seats. Road, engine noise seem hard to avoid from any Honda car. Other than that, my accord runs like champ.

My First Honda, Ever

It had all standard equipment. The electrical components in the dash don't last past about 15 years. I had purchased it used, and in 2 years it needed a new set of dash gauges and the heating/cooling board needed to be replaced. The LCD that showed the car's total mileage driven went out completely. That's why the dash gauge board had to be replaced. The engine and transmission were still excellent in it. It had about 148,000 when I traded it in. I could have kept it longer but had the opportunity to get a new vehicle so I took it.
