2004 Honda Accord consumer reviews

I just turned 16 and mostly drive this car. It's a great starter car it is not fast but it's very reliable. If you take care of it will last you 300,000 miles or more. I would recommend this car if you have a smaller budget but you want more bang for your buck. We bought it for around $7500 and it had 85,000 miles on it.

This car looks different than any car in model seats long as go keep matainance good. No tension anything.

Honda most say are very well vehicles they will last as long as we keep it tuned up and change oil up it could last a lifetime

I have the V6 six speed manual coupe with HFP package, and boy is it a fun car. It gets great gas mileage (I average about 24) and it has plenty of power for accelerating quickly. I can chirp the tires shifting to 2nd and third gear if I let the RPMs run up to the vtec range. It also rides pretty nicely for having sport suspension and low profile tires. The back seats are a little cramped, but will fit my 6 foot+ friends, and are comfortable. There is definitely some wind noise on the interstate, but nothing horrible. Te premium audio system also sounds very nice and has plenty of bass and clear mids and highs. The reliability is typical of a Honda, I have only had to replace small parts such as the window motor and regulator, and the door latch cable. The paint is fading as well, which is typical of this year range. Nothing major has broken on the vehicle, and it currently has over 160,000 miles on it.

This car is notorious for transmission issues, specifically the 2004. Runs great or horribly, there is no in between.

I love this car. I've owned it for about 5 years now after buying it from the original owner and now I'm looking to replace it with a newer version. That's how much I liked this car. I've never had any major issues even with it being 13 years old now. I own the v6 and it gives me great power for my everyday driving. My only complaint really about this car is the lack of an aux plug where you can get to it which really isn't too difficult of a fix.

The ride is great. The AC is cold and it has plenty leg room. There's a little cracking on the front of the hood.

This car is economic with fuel and very reliable. Though a bit old; its styling both on the inside and outside are not totally outdated . This car is quite comfortable with good leg room and well designed seats that cocoon passengers , and does not lag behind in performance especially when the vtec kicks in.

Great car if you just want to get places, very cheap to repair and reliable. While it isn't exactly a fun car, it is good for resale, and commuting. Not extremely stylish or powerful, but overall good for starting off.

You cannot go wrong with an accord. The reliability is unmatched by most other car makers. All you have to do is regularly change the oil and it will run forever.
