Amazing Gas Mileage and Features
I just bought this car today and loved most everything about it! It came with a sunroof, air conditioning, and power locks/ windows. I haven't driven it a great deal but the little bit I have has been perfect. The engine pick up was great, there were no strange sounds, and for being an older car the low mileage was wonderful. Would definitely recommend this vehicle!

Great Ride
The 2004 civic coupe is an excellent car. Purachased used in 2008 with 54k this car has been the model of reliability. Tires and a new battey have been my largest maintenece expenses. My car now has 123000 miles and would expect to keep it until it has atleast 250k. Im over 6 feet but driver's area still has space. Has as much space as can be expected from a coupe. Have an automatic but is quick and responsive. Have to upgrade car size soon due to growing family but it will probably be an accord because my civic set a great example.

Love this Honda!
I've always heard and been told Honda's a great reliable car and now I believe it! I've barely done any maintenance outside of oil changes and the occasional brake pad stuff. Comfort is ok and it can still handle the weather changes and craziness of city living. 80,000 miles later, its still truckin.

Very disappointed
I bought a 2004 Civic GX (natural gas) for many reasons including being able to drive in the carpool lane alone. I decided to buy a Honda because of its renowned reliability. When I bought the car, I knew it was very bland inside and out, but I could deal with that. I noticed that I started having back issues when I drive it alot. The main thing that I was disappointed with was its reliability. I heard that 300K miles was not unusual. It was more expensive than other cars in its class, but I was interested in long-term value. Unfortunately, though, shortly after the warranty expired, my transmission blew up - for no apparent reason. The car was always maintained by the Honda dealer. They could not determine what caused it to blow up. For over 2-3 years now, I have had issues with the transmission. It is now in the shop to be replaced the 3rd time. I can't sell it with a transmission problem on the record, so I feel I have to either scrap the car or replace the transmission and trade it in right away. Honda was not helpful at all in this matter. The car currently has a 100K on it - too young for needing it's 4th transmission. The only car that I have owned that had worse maintenance issues was a 1978 Mustang. My car has spent more hours in the service garage than in my own garage during the last 2 years. This was my first Honda and it will be my last.

A Great Little Surprise
I have had two Accords and both the first and second generation CR-V's I've traded all of them at the 100,000 mile mark.....I was mad at Honda for making the third gen CR-V look like a grandma's grocery van--so I wasn't sure what I wanted. I bought my 04 Civic Coupe used-one previous owner-basically on a whim. It took a few months to get used to the size (so much smaller than my CR-V's)and I was totally scared of winter driving. Silly me....this car has been a total delight. I've put 40,000 miles on her in two years and she hasn't even hiccouped--40-46 mpg no matter what. I did the 100,000 maintenance early and replaced the timing belt.....because I fully plan to drive this car for the next 7-10 years. It's totally a fun car to drive. I highly recommend this car for everyone.
