Engine went bad while still under warranty. Transmission has failed. Ball joints have gone out. This can has spent months on end in the shop. The electrical system has been a nightmare.

This car is my second Civic. The first one gave me many years of superb performance, until it expired five weeks ago. Shopping around, I bought a newer model and it is exactly what I needed.

Having tried out many lines of automobiles, over the years, the Civic is the most reliable and user-friendly of the bunch.

I had a silver Civic SI Sedan. Very nice, bought with 24K off the showroom floor. 6 speed. This car never broke down. It was fast and handled really really good. 200 HP. I traded it with 185K on it. No problems. They gave me top dollar plus a little. That should have tipped me off that I was trading a very desirable car. I should have kept it. Good car. Honda is the best in my opinion.

I've owned Hondas for over 30 years and this is the worst. I should add that I take exceptional care of my Hondas using only a Honda mechanic and parts and driven sensibly. This Civic EX was purchased with all available features. It has always had a terrible noisy ride. Impossible to keep tires on it. Uncomfortable interior. Water pump pulley broke and wore hole through housing. More. Was going to buy a 2018 Accord but they are eliminating the V-6 and I'll never buy another one of their 4-cyl again. Done with Honda!!
