2010 Honda Civic consumer reviews

First I'd like to point out its reliability. This car has never broken down, or left me standing on the side of the road. I've only had to replace the brakes so far. I've given it it's scheduled maintenance without fail. But in the end, it's nothing to write home about. It's an average car that tries to be a coupe. It's a bit small and it's engine is smaller so I'm often in the position of pushing the pedal to the metal just to get it to move faster when trying to merge into oncoming traffic, for example. The interior design is great, exterior gets boring pretty fast. The previous cars I've owned are a Volkswagen and a Ford, and they've seem strong, solid. The civic feels like it may disassemble if I pass a speed bump at above 5mph. Even after that, I think what I dislike the most about this car is the cabin, is extremely noisy. I can hear everything even with the windows up and music on. There's a constant hum of the road. I believe Honda cars are known for their reliability and I'll agree with that. But if you're looking for a solid car that feels strong, you'd probably be better off looking somewhere else.

Over all it was a great car. Comfortable while stylish at the same time. Fuel efficient and a smooth ride. It has everything you need for your basic car. Worth it.

Met all of my expectations, relatively comfortable, split rear seat-back folds down, great mileage, nice controls, Navigation and heated front seats really great, fairly sporting looking, very inexpensive to own and maintain--it only has 23,700 miles, excellent dealer service--back seat sometimes a challenge for older adults

Great Car for the family and for road trips. Gas is amazing and it sounds super nice! It's sporty enough to breaks some heads on occasion!

I owned a five speed manual transmission civic. It was a very reliable, economical, and fun car to drive.

First car I ever had. Two words. Simple. Reliable. It wasn't overly fancy. But it never broke down. I loved this car. Only reason I don't still drive it is because I passed it on to my sister when she turned 16. I found it very useful for learning to drive a manual (If that's what you're looking for), because the transmission was so forgiving. It's amazing. The Civic is one of the most iconic cars known to man.

The car met my needs because it's what I can afford right now. It makes me feel safe and comfortable to drive in and I have no issues with it thus far! I love hondas !!!

This was my very first new car that i bought and love it! Had it for 7 years and no major problems. The things i do not like about it is it's very loud inside when you drive and it does like hills without over working it. Last year my aux went out. Over all tho, it's very reliable.
