I just got the car a two weeks ago. It was brand new. I absolutely love it and look good driving it.

We owned a Civic once before and enjoyed it. This car has come along way and we are excited about driving it. We have always liked Hondas. We have seen their durability and looking forward to seeing this thing ride for a long time.

To be specific, this is a Civic Si Coupe. My first car was a CRX so I have something similar to compare it to. 2017 added to the Civic model lineup, the TypeR. But if you put all the Civic models in a row and they were all the same color it would be tricky telling them apart at first glance. The only major difference is the spoiler and a slight variation in the tail lights. The Si's interior is spectacular with it's sports seats and Apple Car Play/ Android Play standard. It even has a moon roof. Even though it's only two doors the seats in the back are quite roomy. The steering wheel is fully loaded with buttons but interestingly there are a few empty markings where there should be buttons by the shift knob. I don't really like when cars have "fake" buttons. There is only one trim of Si so there shouldn't be things like that. But aesthetics aside, the Si is an amazing car. You can't beat Honda's reliability and handling, especially with a manual transmission. My other car is a 1997 Toyota Tacoma so I can easily tell how intuitive and easy everything is. The clutch is so soft, the steering requires almost no effort. Plus you can feel the horsepower immediately. Just a slightly deeper step on the accelerator makes your car show everyone around what it's made of. This car wants to go fast. You always feel the G force as you sink into your seat, especially on turns. Even if you redline it, it doesn't show any signs of stress. So if you want a sports car that is reliable, fun, effortless and can hold a few friends, nothing can beat the 2017 Si at an MSRP of $24,000.

Took my 2017 Civic SI sedan right off the lot and completed a 1800 mile round trip to the Midwest . Varied the speed between 66 and 76 .Paper and pencil gas log result ( not the in car calculator ) 39.95 mpg . For a car that can get to 60 in 6.3 sec , has room for 5, achieves that mileage and a Five Star crash rating ...truly a smart car !
