Improved Civic

I had a 2017 Toyota Corolla that was totaled by a DUI driver, the Corolla rode a little stiff and acceleration was sluggish, so since I need to get a new car so I would have wheels. I heard great things about the newly redesigned Civics so I went to many dealers checking it out and what a surprise. The ride was smooth the acceleration was great (I had a turbo) and it had so much technology incorporated into it. I bought the 2017 Honda Civic Touring because I didn't want to say "I should have bought the car with everything on it" and OMG this car is beautiful in everything. The only thing that I would like to see is that the driver's seat could go up a little higher, about an inch maybe. Buy this car, you won't be sorry :)

Best car ever

Love this car! Sporty, great on gas, and plenty of passenger and cargo room. It's really fun to drive and has plenty of power. I've been getting 35 MPG average with mostly city driving. Also plenty of backseat space, my 6'6 brother squeezed into the back seat.

Fun and efficient with cool style

The styling is very cool and different than anything else. The engine is powerful and efficient but the turbo lags a bit. The CVT wasn't nearly as annoying as I feared. The ride is a bit stiff and cheap feeling at times. But as a daily driver it isn't too bad. I look forward to seeing how it does on longer trips. Gas mileage has been running about 28 mpg in the city with a bit of a heavy foot.

Great value, fun to drive to boot!

So when I originally went looking for a new vehicle I knew it was going to be a hatchback so one Honda released the new civic lineup it got thrown into the mix with the traditional Mazda and Volkswagen. After test driving the Mazda in the civic I find myself gravitating way from Mazda for the first time in over a decade. While the handling may not be is stiff and responsive as in the three everything else more than makes up for it couldn't be happier.

The more I drive it, the more I like it

I shopped for a car the same way I shop for a computer. Does it have the specs I want? Does it have the features I want? This is what made me decide on the Honda Civic SI. Honda as a brand, is known for reliability and good resale value. The SI has the power, the manual transmission, and other features that I wanted. The only downside is the gas mileage. So far, the car doesn't get nearly the 28/38 mpg promised. I'm averaging about 24 mpg. Overall, however, I am very satisfied with my new car.

10th gen Civic

It has been a month since I traded HRV for the Covic Si sedan. The handling is spotty but not too stiff. Steering is responsive; not too hard not too soft. The non-Vtec turbo provides decent acceleration. If you want more power, you may want to check out cars in its class but Civic provides roomy interior with technologies. Once a while it may glitch up on the infotainment but works most of the time. The car gets decent MPG with 205hp. It's hard to find a sports sedan with 33MPG combined of street/freeway/canyon spirited driving. I'm not a fan of fake grills but the styling is certainly ahead of the era since many complained about the spaceship looks. The 18" OEM wheels are stylish and rides aren't too bad with low profile tires. If any complaint I have, it's the quality and craftsmanship have gone down. Big gap, and uneven plastic and sheet metal spacing. The paint on the plastic and metal are also off by far and noticeable. The cabin noise is semi quiet, but exhaust for the Si is too quiet. I and most owners still prefer some exhaust note but not too loud. It's definitely a car you can enjoy without breaking the bank.

Great car for my daughter

The 2017 Honda Civic LX delivers amazing value for the money spent. We purchased the car for my 16 year old daughter due to the features, value and safety system (Honda Sensing) which I highly recommend especially for new drivers.
