2006 Honda Civic Hybrid consumer reviews

Had this car as a high mileage beater with all the common problems for that generation, hybrid battery failure, transmission issues, etc. Long story short I beat the xxxx out of this car with no regard to it other than things that would affect my safety, and you could not kill it. power steering is electric and smooth like butter, and it genuinely got 37 mpg. Watch out for bad hybrid batteries, and avoid specific years of the generation

Bought this 06 Honda Civic hybrid for my daughter. 267k on clock. Test drove. Done deal. Now 270 something on the clock and still runs like a sewing machine. Can anyone forecast future issues for this car good or bad. Contact me. Just drove a friend's 21 chevy impala. The honda is easier to get into and out of. You hit your head on the roof of the Impala. I'm 6' but wife is 5'2 and she hits her head on the chevy but not the honda. Great car so far I hope.

This is a one owner car. This car is very sound mechanically. Regular maintenance has been kept on it. The hybrid battery was replaced in 2018 with 198,000 miles on it. There is only 20,000 miles on the hybrid battery. The new hybrid battery increases your milage and has better acceleration. New Tires in 12/2017 The tires have 7/32 or greater of tread on them New Battery in 1/2018 1/4/2021 A over-all inspection of the car was done. There was some minor issues with the brakes and those were repaired.

This is the most gas efficient vehicle I ever driven it takes $20 to full the tank up.It also has a nice music system.The seats are very comfortable

This car did not meet all my needs and the dealership was not honest at all resulting in more out of pocket expenses. I just can’t believe this.

This car is one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned and driven. The maintenance is really well priced, and the up keep is very minimal.

Car lasted 220,000 miles. Not bad for a four cylinder. I always changed the oil ahead of time. It died after it swallowed a valve resulting in a hole in number 4 piston. Gas mileage started out great but seemed to get worse over time. Still it was better than most cars on gas mileage. Battery lasted for the 12 years we had the car. Only wiper motor failed. Had to replace head lights every year. Car ran smooth even at high speeds.

This was a great car for commuting. It still works fine even with 229k miles! I just want a 4WD SUV for more space and towing a boat.

Lots of mechanical and computer issues with this car, engine is not made of for accelerating at a normal speed. Great on gas, drives like xxxx

I had this car since 11/2011 at 40,000 miles. Now it has 210,00. Of course I had some repairs along the way. Always maintained the norms. Its done a good job. I wont buy a Hybrid again. Every time I say Hybrid when I am looking for something fixed, the price goes up.
