Better than the 2008 CRV
My 2013 is by far quieter than my 2008 that I owned. Road noise has been dampened considerably. The overall ride is more comfortable and smoother. Interior compartment availability and convenience is definetly better located within driver's reach. Vehicle seems to be heavier than my 2008 and braking seems to be slower than what I was used to with the 2008. I had 55,000 miles on my 2008 and the brakes looked almost new yet. I hope that proves true with my 2013. Time will tell I guess. I like the flip down seats and storage cover. This was a definite update. Sound system is better and I love the bluetooth access system. Horsepower I feel is about the same. Not much improvement on that, but, again the vehicle seems heavier. Steering and visibility is about the same with the exception of the addition of a rear back up cam, (still getting used to that). Overall I am still happy with the car, but the verdict is still out. Endurance and performance are my concerns, of which only time will tell that.

So far so good
I really enjoy driving my new 2013 CR-V EX. It's GRRRRREAT on gas (I only have to fuel up once a week with a 70+ mile daily commute). Love love the sleek look of the car. However, the interior could be better: roomier, with better sun visor and a more comfortable driver's seat that was automatic. A big plus aside from fuel economy is that my Giant Schnauzer fits perfectly in truck. A big downside is that my phone (Samsung Galaxy Relay 4G) still hasn't been made compatible with Bluetooth feature.

Jury Is still Out
Disappointed in the loud road noise from the front end at highway speed. The front seats are uncomfortable after a medium to long ride. The carpet appears to be thin and I wonder how long it will last. Gas mileage on 4 cylinder auto is good. Have heard the cost of the 1st oil change at a dealer will knock your socks off.

Great car so far
We only have 1000 miles on our 2013 CRV, AWD, but it had no issues requiring it go back to the dealer. It is getting 25 mixed driving, and 28 through the mountains at a fairly steady 55 mph. Should do better on the open flat highway, but we live in a mountainous area. Ergonomics are great. Everything within easy reach. The radio/bluetooth hands free phone system etc takes a while getting used to. Quality has been great, no squeaks, rattles, etc. We will be towing ours behind our motorhome, and nothing beats a Honda CRV for that mission, with an automatic transmission. I would like to see an available V-6. The inline 4 power is adequate but nothing outstanding, pass with care. Fit and finish is good, great seats, and appears to be a quality car throughout. We traded in a 2004 CRV, which had lots of rattles by 79K miles. We hope this one is made more solid.

Good value & reliability
In November I replaced my 2009 CR-V with the 2013 model. Both cars are very reliable and we received good value for what we paid. The features in the 2013 CR-V such as easier ability to fold down the rear seats was welcome. The pick-up on the 2013 is better due to increased engine performance...very desireable.

best for $$ value
smooth ride & OK mileage/acceleration. wish passenger seat had power & why do 15gal gas tank? NAVI is not as good as my 09 accord ex-l also which had 18.3gal tank.cr-v is fun to drive but wish CD player had 6 disc changer similar to 09 ACCORD instead of just 1 CD & MP3/bluetooth/smartFON offered on CR-V as only way to play music options.

Another CR-V again
I owned a 2003 CR-V LX which I bought new ten years ago. So when it became time to go with something a little newer, the first stop was at the Honda Dealer. After checking out the competition the decision was easy: go with what you were perfectly happy with for the past ten years. Yes, I have driven my new CR-V LX less than 1000 miles, but I love it as much as the old model. Some of the major improvements from 10 years ago: I love the back-up camera, especially the three different settings you can pick from. The new styling is very cool! The cargo area is definitely bigger: no problem getting my bike in!
