2013 Honda CR-V consumer reviews

I love it but I wish it had few more options for the same amount we paid for. Also the back window is blocked by the seat tops that makes difficult to see your back. Also back seats don't have AC.

It does everything I need it to do! Real easy to tow behind my motor home and great for everyday driving and hauling things! It sounds great running and looks good to! Fun to drive!

Many owners report mysterious front-end "Creaking" sound, which dealers, mechanics or collision repair people cannot find or fix. Mine is no different. After spending more thab $5,000 to repair front end, the creak is still there. Honda obviously mis-designed this vehicle, but aptly named it a CR-V, an acronym for "Creak and Rattle Vehicle. The transmission also is lack-luster, omitting manual electronic shifting through four gears, useful on mountain roads (Toyota includes this vital feature). The vehicle is also under-powered and gets worse mileage than it's Toyota competitor which boasts a powerful V6. I know so much about both of these vehicles, because we own both. Do yourself a favor and avoid this mysterious Creaking wagon, which even Honda cannot figure out.

There is only one negative feature I have regarding My CRV and that is the back door is not automatic. However the next years model was automatic! So for five years I have only had this single complaint. Otherwise I love my CRV, the ride, the gas mileage, and all its features.

Great practical car, it was great for long trips and very good on gas. I owned it for 5 years without a single program and know it will last another 5 years

It?s the best compact SUV with good handling, gas mileage, dependability, and styling and adequate power and cargo space. For the price it is a little workhorse, not a show horse.

Great vehicle, fuel economy, great comfort, easy to fit for family with great comfort and relaxable seats. kids enjoy the vehicle comfort and sit with relax

I wouldn't buy another Honda 4cylinder engine .my 2nd one.. Honda knows the have issues with the VTC.. But refuses to recall.. This costs the owner over $1k right outside warranty.. Both cars started having issues barely outside 60k miles.. Honda issues a technical service bulletin but denies and faulty parts.. 1000s of unhappy customers online.. Google Honda VTC issue before you buy a Honda.. And keep in mind they will offer you nothing to help repair your vehicle, Honda quality has went down hill since about 2006..

Never had to worry about a thing, not a single issue. Sometimes wish the dash was fancier but heated seats work great and I love the outside styling. Perfect sized vehicle, nice to drive.

The car does need some outer body repair, but I believe the vehicle is a good value. So far, so good. We will see from here.
