2015 Honda CR-V consumer reviews

Bought this CR-V 15 days ago and immediately went on a 4 day trip. Handled very well. Great gas mileage (30.5 average mpg) even driving secondary highways in northern Arkansas and southwest Missouri with lots of hills and turns. Very happy so far.

DO NOT BUY THIS CAR until you research "2015 CRV vibration problem". When you are in drive and stopped in traffic or at a stoplight, the seats vibrate so badly it is disturbing. Honda is aware of this but has done nothing to fix it. If you still want one, make sure you test drive it until it warms up. The rpms idle too low, thus the vibration. Dealers won't tell you about this. "

We recently purchased a new Honda CRV and are thrilled with the purchase. When our minivan started to show signs of slowing down, we initially thought we would need another minivan. However, we were pleasantly surprised with how much room the CRV offers. Sincerely, Honda CRV fan!

This is my first Japanese vehicle since I owned a Datsun B210 back in the late 80's, while in college. Needed a replacement car, and test drove several small SUV's before choosing our 2015 Honda CR-V. I like the fact that you know what you are getting (amenities) in the car when purchase it! Not the shuffling around of various packages the way other car companies do, except for Saturn, when they were still in business. The average fuel efficiency is already 12 miles higher than the last vehicle, and still climbing. I take the car out of economy mode when I need the power to accelerate onto a highway/roadway. My wife would have liked a few more nooks and crannies to place stuff in, and a rear reading light was the one complaint my 9-year old daughter had! With 400 miles on the vehicle, I have yet to experience the dreaded vibration issue that some people have experienced - but I drive a 2013 GMS Sienna pickup. That truck vibrates all the time, so anything is better than that. Only thing that I changed out in vehicle were the floor mats, for a aftermarket brand. The ones that came with car a on the 'cheap" side. The handling of the car is great. Nothing soft and squishy about this car. It tells you exactly what you are doing, when you are doing it. So far so good. If things change, I will post another review!

Leased a 2015 crv and was pretty confident I would love it as I had previously leased 2 crv's. I can tell you this car is a nightmare . Within 2 weeks of driving the vibration at idle started . It seems to be getting worse and I cannot stand driving this car . If you are reading these reviews PLEASE do what I did not do and listen to people that are driving crv's... The vibration problem is real and makes this car awful to drive . With all the amazing suv options out there DO NOT spend your hard earned money on a 2015 crv .

Recently purchased a Silver 2015 Honda AWD Touring CR-V and so far have been very impressed with the overall styling (exterior and interior) and LOVE driving it. Living in Minnesota and not having gone thru winter weather yet, I cannot attest to how it drives on winter roads. Have owned older CR-V models and have been happy the way they performed on winter roads. Do love all the extra options the touring model has; including very stylish alloy wheels and automatic rear lift hatch. Would definitely recommend this vehicle to others.

I do not own this car but I did take it for a test drive and when I saw all the issues of the vibration I decided to look further into it. The dealership told me not to let the "fake reviews on-line sway me because they are written by other competing dealerships" FALSE! There are true issues and I called Honda corporate to find out there are and this is copied and pasted from their website: When driving my 2015 CR-V, I sometimes experience a vibration primarily felt through the driver's seat, either at idle while in gear or while driving at engine speeds below 2,200 RPM. Is this normal? The 2015 CR-V now includes a Direct-Injection Earth Dreams engine and a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). With the combination, Honda was able to enhance fuel efficiency and increase engine torque. With these changes, some customers have reported experiencing a vibration that they primarily feel through the vehicles driver seat. Customers who experience the vibration have reported it may happen intermittently, either while stopped with the vehicle in gear or while driving at engine speeds below 2,200 RPM. Honda wants to assure our owners that we have heard your concerns and are analyzing available data and customer comments, and performing actual vehicle testing. Please click here for a descriptive video. I don't think I'm interested and they said nothing has been done for these owners, other than documenting their VIN's and they will look into it. Also, from my own observations the cloth fabric on the front seats are not tucked under and the edges all show which is unsightly. The dealerships don't want to address or hear about these complaints and want to move on to the next customer.

Have only had the crexl for 2000 miles. So far we love it If you are looking to buy this car negotiate for the roof rack bars which are not standard. I would also considervgoingbup to the touring model which I believe gets you a backup warning where the dr ill stop. All in all so far it's everything we had hoped for.

When testing this car take it for a longer drive. When car is warming up it drives with higher RPM so driving experience is good. When is completely warmed, the computer starts optimizing RPM for full efficiency. It lowers the RPM to the point that everything vibrates. You will experience vibration when car is stopped and idling. RPM will go down below 600 and the car starts shaking. After 6 months asking and waiting for the fix Honda changed transmission mounting to reduce the vibration when idling. To my disappointment vibration was reduced only a bit. The shuddering when accelerating is very strong - driving experience is horrible. I really hope Honda will address these issues. I tested other brand SUVs and I liked them. I went with Honda because of my previous experience with Honda Accord 2003 which was excellent. I will never trust the brand again.

We bought Honda crv LX aug 31st, 2015. Only 156 miles, after stopping for single light experience terrible vibration, engine RPM goes all over. Check engine light banking. Car could not accelerate above 25 mi/h. I had to drive few miles and got in to parking lot , stop the car wait few minutes and start again. Check engine light is gone and car stated to work fine. I am going to dealer tomorrow. Do not buy this car.
