So far, the most unreliable vehicle we have owned.

The comfort is good, but if you do any traveling and have to leave your car at an airport parking lot while on vacation, or for work, don’t count on the battery working as the electronics place a parasitic drain on the battery, when not driven daily.

Crappy car not reliable do not buy

This car is not worth what I paid for it. It is a crappy car. It is made cheaply. You are not safe in this vehicle. Do not buy if you value your life. Breaks failed when driving had to have it re-booted. It is already now spongy again. You cannot link your phone to car. Many flaws in car.

VERY NICE CAR

I HAVE HAD THIS CAR FOR A YEAR AND A HALF, 23,000 MILES AND IT HAS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. THIS IS A FRONT WHEEL DRIVE AND THE GAS MILEAGE HAS BEEN GREAT. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE HAD IS WITH THE NOISY HANKOOK TIRES AND I REPLACED THEM WITH A NEW SET OF MICHLEN DESTINY TIRES. NOW EVERYTHING IS GOOD.

This is the most xxxx poor vehicle I've ever had.

The car was sold with substandard quality tires on it and they are failing before I had the vehicle 2 yrs. I only have 23,000 miles on the car and the tires are shot.

Sorry I can’t put my confidence in this 2018 .

My first car, reliable but flawed

I like my Honda CRV. It's very reliable and great on gas. My only complaint is the the technology, mainly the screen. It glitches constantly which worries me and my passengers. It glitches to the point where I have no control of it. It's made phone calls on it's on and set the GPS. It seems to be getting worse and Honda has no solution yet. As a computer engineer I rate the tech in my Honda CRV, 2 stars. The glitch is annoying and it even happens when I'm using the GPS so I have to use my cellular device, which is a safety hazard cause I have to look at my phone and drive. I honestly wouldn't recommend this to a friend, cause this is my first and last Honda. Now my mom's 2019 Honda Pilot screen is starting to act up slightly. That is how it starts. I love my car cause it's my first, but I can't wait to pay it off and get another brand so I don't have to bust a vain getting annoyed over that malfunctioning screen almost everyday.

It's good overall, but I have a quibble.

I bought a brand new CRV EXL in Lunar Silver Mettalic. I wanted an AWD car that could hold my daughter's upright bass. I got permission from my wife, :-), to get a new Pilot to replace my Subaru Legacy. However, it dawned on me, we don't need two midsize CUVs. I have an 80 mile round trip commute to work and I wanted something with decent fuel efficiency. I settled on the CRV over all of the other small CUVs because we just prefer the ride and handling of Honda vehicles. Honda speaks our car language. The exterior is overwrought as they tried to do to much especially with the hood. There is a hood bulge on the passenger and driver sides of the hood that makes it a little difficult to see how close you are when pulling into a tight space. My wife's Pilot has a relatively flat hood and is easier to park, strangely enough (I'm 5'10" btw, so parking the CRV should be easier). Otherwise, the car looks good from most angles. The interior fit and finish is top notch. I'm really impressed. The leather in the seats feels good, the top of the dash and the tops of the doors are relatively good soft touch plastics. The dash, seats, and doors all look nice and tight and the doors sound decent when you close them. The front seats are comfy and good for long trips. The speedometer and gauge display is bright and crystal clear. There's not much else to say. The radio screen should be 8" not 7". Even though the infotainment screen is too small for my tastes it is clear and bright as well. Android auto works really well even though the display can be a little bit laggy. In terms of driving dynamics, this is a great car. Acceleration is decent, handling is very good and this car is very stable at speed. It's also very maneuverable is parking lots. No complaints there. So those are my immediate positive observations. My one real quibble, the thing that bugs me the most, the engine noise. I think Honda tried to make this CUV sound a little sporty, giving a lit bit of an exhaust note and letting in some engine noise. It's a tall station wagon not a sports car. When in doubt, Honda, default to giving it a quieter engine and exhaust, not noisier. It's not too noticeable on the highway but when tooling around town that engine and exhaust note are annoying and intrusive. I recommend this car over all of it's peers. It's just a better overall vehicle.
