Enjoying the ride

Traded a 2016 CR-V EX FWD for CR-V Hybrid EX. Passenger space is better both front and rear. Ride is smoother and I feel the engine pulls well. No problems merging into highways. I averaged 29.8 with the 2016. I am averaging 33.2 for the first 500 miles. Driving the same areas and speeds. This is nowhere near the EPA 40/35 estimate. Hence the lower grade. I will update if MPG increases.

Apple CarPlay does not work. Honda refuses to fix

One of the main features I wanted in a new car was Apple Car Play. That was one of the key reasons I bought the CR-V. However, it broke the 2nd time I drove the car (just locks up after 20-30 minutes; have to turn car off/on to recover). Took in to get it fixed 4 days ago. They still have the car, and are refusing to fix it.

6th CR-V Honda continues its awesomeness

Drives like a more expensive luxury car. Seamless switching between batteries & gas. Ride is soft & cushy. Interior is exceptionally classy with a high quality look & leather seats are extremely comfortable. Safety features galore.

A great small hybrid SUV

So far so good. Extremely quiet and comfortable. Gas mileage so far hasn't gotten anywhere near the EPA estimates. Averaging about 27 mpg for short trips. Automatic auditory alert when in electric mode below 20 mph is annoying, but federally mandated. I bought the Touring model, which has all the available options. Professional reviews have criticized the audio unit because no tuning knob and small 7" screen. Besides their complaining, this unit is fine. Once you set it up initially, you're not going into the sub-screens and definitely not while driving. The screen is fine for Nav or using Waze with Apple CarPlay. Honda could have put the upgraded Accord unit in with a bigger screen and tuning knob. Clearly, they won't do this till the next full redesign. Also critical that the front seats don't have cooling like the RAV4 Hybrid. Not a big deal but would have been nice. Would have been nice to have rear seat heaters, which my 2017 Honda Civic Touring Sedan had. Weird they didn't do that here. Acceleration is strong from a stop but does run out of wind after 50 mph range, but again, not terrible by any means. I immediately upgraded the OEM tires from Continental to Verdestein Quatrack Pro, which are much nicer. Ride comfortably, quiet, better in the rain and with the 3 peak rating, will be better in the winter. I also bought WeatherTech floor and cargo mats. Laser measured and fit perfectly. Net: I'm very pleased with this machine and recommend it. Now let's hope it has great reliability!

This is my 4th Honda vehicle

After the Pilot, this is my 3rd CR-V. Looks like they are getting better with each new model. I just got it yesterday and so far so good, can't complain.

So far so good

We’ve had the car for 3 days. So far I’m very pleased with our choice. Very comfortable and today I went grocery shopping and love the foot sensor for opening and closing the rear gate.
